OMG, The best service ever!! The manager Ellen, was our hostess, party of seven. Even though we could tell she was short of staff, and it was a little warm due to the air conditioning not working, Ellen was extra polite, all smiles, and had amazing customer service. Her restaurant was clean and the food was delicious. Thank you Ellen and staff for making an uncomfortable situation out to be a rememberable and enjoyable experience. You rock!!! Someone please help this Beautiful young lady get her air conditioning fixed it's too hot in Texas 🥵🙏🏽 Blessings to you and your Staff Ellen.
Well..I would like to redeem myself but more so IHOP and the staff there..since I had never ate there at 3am I had never met such an awesome team..they work together and the food came hot, pretty quick n it was so good. Andrea I believe is her name went above n beyond to serve us exactly what we needed m her waitress n staff also brought us lil things like extra napkins butter..I love when they give you no reason to call or ask for anything else. The place also seemed so much cleaner n fresh..I will be returning.. thanks~Brad & Blanca
IHOP in Seguin, Texas... Although I loved my fresh blueberry French Toast, the hash browns were fried perfectly, the lemonade tea was great, and pancakes were fluffy and fresh and tasty, the restaurant was messy. We ate here in June and they had fans going every where did to ac issues and it wasn't too bad being that it was summer. You could tell they tried to keep it at a comfortable temperature instead of just shutting down until new ac units arrived and it was fine. But the floors were a mess. Whole slices of bacon on the floor and in my book wasting bacon is criminal! ? Thank goodness we had a great waitress who made our visit awesome!
I’m here working out of town with a large company and I will be sure to tell them of my experience at this location. I waited to be seated the store’s air conditioner was out with fans and I got my table after a little wait. There were 11 people in the dining area all seemed a little impatient. I ordered a sample platter and some coffee and after 30 min I simply checked on my order. My family is in the food industry and I understand short staff and what not. The manager brought me my meal and appetizer and I simply said that it was a long wait . As I cut into my chicken fried steak I noticed the manager pointing me out to a police officer! I can understand if I used profanity or was rude but I was not and I was escorted out by the police and was in utter shock! I will make sure none of my company visit this location! Someone needs to be accountable for this as this was the most unprofessional experience in my life!
Apparently the cook has walked out tonight. So it understandable, to have slower than normal service. My complaint tonight is the other employees refuse to even acknowledge myself and others the walked in. Its only natural to greet anyone and if there is a problem let the customer know. To just ignore them is completely and totally unprofessional.
The hostess seated us promptly; however the floor under our table was filthy. Jessie forgot about our drinks; however after 28 minutes, someone else assisted and provided our coffee and juice. After being there well over an hour, our breakfast finally came out. The harvest grain pancakes are my favorite! My son's and husband's food had no seasonings and the eggs were overcooked. I hope you have a better experience than we did. The bathrooms could use some cleaning and the manager should consider helping the team bring out drinks and check all areas to ensure there is a clean environment for their guests to eat at.
Yet another corporate restaurant that raised their prices simply because they could blame it on Covid inflation. A milkshake should not cost as much as a meal.
Good food and reasonable prices. It is nice to sit down and the place is not crowded. I do feel bad for the waitresses not getting enough tips because of so few people.
We first got sat at a table that had scrambled eggs all over it then moved us to a booth that was to small for my husband to fit in and the booth seat was completely broken. After waiting 10 minutes for a server to come so I could ask to move, no one came. I moved us to a new table and waited 10 minutes no one came, went and let someone know we were sitting there waiting on a server, waited 20 minutes no one so we walked out and still no one spoke to us. Do not go here
I don’t like to play the race card; however, for the third time at this place my party and I were ignored. The hostess was great, she immediately seated us. We sat at the table for about 20 and no one had even come to take our drink order. We sat there and watched several tables that didn’t look us getting quick service, asked the waiter was everything ok, he pretended as if he didn’t hear me. After the next party came in and received immediate service it was obvious to us, we were not welcomed! I will not be returning to IHOP in Seguin!
