I love the Grain Bin! Such a great place and food is awesome.
This is a hidden gem! The food is amazing and the laid-back, family friendly atmosphere is delightful! The owner, Tammy, is super friendly and will make you feel right at home.
We have been hesitant to eat in a restaurant the last few years. Tammy and her staff went above and beyond with accommodations so that we felt comfortable enough to eat in a restaurant. The service and food was beyond amazing. If you want to eat out where you feel like family Grain Bin is the place.
Nice atmosphere. A bit pricey. $2.50 for a can of coke is high. I ordered the seafood combo-$15.50 was ok. The small stuffed crab was okay. The butterfly shrimp was good but the fillet of catfish was undercooked. My friend's plate was good. She said everything was fine. Plenty of gravy and mashed potatoes. The appetizers fried sweet potato and onion rings were good.
Great home-made farm fresh meal selections, any one you'll be glad you ordered. Everything we tried was of excellent quality and out of the kitchen in minutes. Don't hesitate to try anyone of the home-made desserts. The owner takes pride in your satisfaction and treats you like old friends. Stop by for a meal, or order and pickup at the drive thru. The outside seating is also quite a treat.
Today I had one of the best damn cheeseburgers I've ever had. The mushrooms Swiss burger is absolutely show stopping. My tastebuds almost exploded at first contact with this delicious country burger. Visit soon and often, you will not be disappointed!!
Nice little place to eat!!...friendly staff....lots on the menu to choose from!...Chicken fried steak was very good....
We have passed by this place for a while now, finally looked them up and based on reviews gave it a try. I will give kuddos to the staff and service, it is a very friendly environment but the food, just awful. In my opinion, it was commercially frozen and prepared items. It was so tasteless and unappetizing that we barely ate and left our plates full on the table. We were really hoping for a "home style cooking" type of place to start taking the family. Maybe we were here on an off night, not sure but it is on our no list.
Great little place, kinda hidden due to location out in Country between Seguin and San Marcos, TX. Off Hwy 123. They have great appetizers, my favorite is the grilled chicken. Very friendly Staff. Many homestile meals to choose from. Usually no wait, food comes out fast. They have a little gift shop area in front of restaurant and a Bar area in back. Parking in front and back.
Good food! Hometown comfort! Welcoming helpful staff.
