I had a double meat burger it was very good meat wasn’t dry it was very filling I didn’t even get to eat the whole thing but I took the rest home….definitely recommend oh and the cheese balls were a hit with my kids
Fantastic food and service! Our server Kim was so kind and very fun, lots of laughs! Cooks did a great job, enchiladas were phenomenal! Desserts are on an entirely different level. Homemade from scratch, we had the sawdust pie, strawberry rhubarb, and banana pudding. We didn't walk out, we rolled.
Driving through the town headed home to Lockhart, found this restaurant. Amazing food and service from Shelby was over the top! Best service ever. Watched her work the tables effortlessly and with her sweet disposition. She is an asset to Gg's. We will be back ?
We drive all the way from Austin just to eat fried green tomatoes they are the beat!!

Very surprised at the quality. At first glance the menu seemed limited but it's full great options.From sandwiches to full plate dinners you can't go wrong here. Everything is made fresh from the hand breaded fried okra to the homemade desserts. From start to finish this was an excellent place to get comfort food.The service here is excellent. Everyone was so welcoming and genuinely happy to be there to make sure you have a wonderful experience.We will be back for sure!
The chicken fried steak with brown gravy had good seasoning. The fried pickles are different. The wait time for the food was very long.The service was good she did apologize for the wait time and explained the situation and gave us a free slice of cherry pie and thanked us for being patient. So good job to our server.
I orders a chicken fried chicken it looked delicious but tasted microwaved so I sent it back and got a cheese nacho with jalapeno and this is what they gave me , I thought it was going to be actual nacho cheese. I didn't want it. The waiter was okay but probably won't be returning
walked in and was greeted with smiling faces and ushered to our table. our waitress Jamie was awesome very knowledgeable of the menu this was our first time here. after our meal I'm not sure if the gentleman who came to our table was the owner or chef. i kinda interrupted him to tell him how good the food was oops ?. he recommended we give the desserts a try and they did not at all. loved the experience!
The restaurant was clean and our waitress was very sweet. We ordered Cheese Nachos for an appetizer. I ordered a Roast Beef sandwich and my son ordered chili cheese fries and a side of fried okra. We didn't get the Nachos until after the meal was served. The waitress showed me that she had infant ordered the Nachos. UT the cook just didn't cook them. She offered a free desert or the Nachos. I opted for the Nachos. They were real bad. Like a glob of semi melted cheese on some chips. I motioned that we were finished and our server came. She looked at the Nachos and stated that they didn't look good and too them off the bill. I think they may have been understaffed but still giving them 5 stars because our actual meal was great. I wish I had gotten her name in this review. She had shoulder length red hair and a good smile.
