Had a celebration for my mom here 40 people. Can't say enough good things about the staff, food and how special they made us feel. The owner greeted us wishing my 90 year old mom happy birthday. Staff was so attentive with drinks and food, prompt and courteous. Highly highly recommend this restaurant. Thank you Stephanie you made this occasion so memorable.

Who said you couldn't have a good ribeye steak at a Mexican restaurant...Not this girl!!I got my Ranchero sauce on the side but you can have it on top??‍♀️

Great food. Nice people quick service. Definitely going back

Brianna was a WONDERFUL waitress! She, honestly, made our special evening PERFECT! Our food was prepared to supreme standards & we enjoyed the ambiance. Altogether a great evening.

Salsa was just pico do gallo blended up, no taste aside from watery tomatoe taste and that was the only option! 20min for 2 orders of bean and cheese nachos?... not sure I would go back for the food..Waitress was hustling!!

I live in new Braunfels but travel to Seguine Texas often. El Ranchito has been my favorite Mexican food in town. They have a gravy chile con carne sauce that goes on their enchiladas that I love. My daughter is very picky about her enchilada sauce and she even likes it. They do give free chips and fresh made salsa before you order. They also have daily lunch specials which I love because I can try many different Mexican dishes. I have had a variety of what they offer and have never had any complaints about their food. Usually the service is good to, but you know sometimes we all have a bad day here or there. But no complaints really and I do love going there with my family or friends. Hope to see you there!

Haven't been in over a decade and the food this time was good. I didn't, however, like that they charge you to use your card, not don't actually tell you this beforehand.

Had about a 20 minute wait on a Saturday night, & everyone working was really working as a team! The salsa was delicious & authentic. The beef fajita salad was really tasty, I’ll come back again.

How do you get bad Mexican food in South Texas?! My husband and I were truly shocked and very disappointed. We stopped here on our way home from a road trip to Indiana. The parking lot was full, the lights were bright, and we were starving, having not eaten since breakfast. We were seated right away, and the dining room is nice. That was the end of the positive aspects of our visit. I was asking the server about some menu items; her response to each question was "I'm not sure". This was never followed with "Let me go ask someone and I'll be right back". And I was asking pretty basic questions, like "On the meal with two enchiladas and two tamales, do I get to choose what kind of enchiladas and tamales? Because I'd like cheese enchiladas and pork tamales". I wasn't asking if the food was locally sourced or contained gluten or was made with organic ingredients. A simple question. Then came the chips and salsa. The chips were nice, but the salsa was watery and had no flavor. We asked for queso; when it came in a little bowl, it looked like soup. It literally just ran off the spoon. We did not even try it. Then came our entrees; the enchiladas were indeed cheese, but the gravy on them was not the rich, flavorful gravy that comes on every plate of every other restaurants' enchiladas. It was watery and flavorless and whatever sort of tiny bits of meat that was in it were gristly. I don't know what was in the tamales because they were pretty tasteless. My husband had tacos that were marginal (how can you possibly mess up a *taco*???) but the rice was hard and rather cold. The only slightly acceptable offering was the beans. Again, we were ravenous so at that point, any food we had should have tasted like ambrosia, right? Not so. And on top of all this, our server never came back to the table. We had to ask another person for more tea. We will not return!

This place is crawling with roaches. My family and I wanted to try this place out because we’ve heard nothing but good reviews about it but after seeing the roaches crawling across the wall I lost my appetite and decided to take my business elsewhere. Who wants to eat at an establishment that has roaches crawling all over the walls? I know I don’t…that’s disgusting ?
