It's good... It's always been a reliable place to get good bbq. It can get busy and there sitting area is small. But I noticed alot of Togo orders while I was there. The plate in the picture was about 16 bucks. Not bad at, my daughter had a plain cheese burger with fries. She liked it. Ate about half. That's what she normally eats. I visited zdt amusement park and plan on visiting the Seguin wave pool next. So I'll probably stop back in to Davilas BBQ

We've heard so much about this restaurant over the years, and finally got to make it there this past weekend with our family. The brisket, chicken and ribs are out of this world! The sides were all fantastic- everyone at our table had their favorite. The fact that this is family owned and operated is the icing on the cake! The Davila family will truly make you feel like you're at home when you visit. Thank Y'all for such a wonderful experience.

This barbecue place has been us again forever it's always been good. Good food from an amazing family keeping singing full on barbecue every week ?

Food was ok yes just ok . Service for dine in very very very very slow . Waiting for 20 minutes for are food . Two stars

The sides are always amazing. The brisket, however, is NEVER consistent. Sometimes it can be tender and flavorful but most times it’s tough and chewy. I got two brisket plates and paid almost $30. $30 for mostly hard, chewy fat? It seems like my plates are always like this. I wanna support them cause they’re local but it makes it so hard when getting this for so much.

The food....well they've been open for more than 40 years, so they are doing something right. Great atmosphere, great beer selection and patio dining too. Can't wait to go back and have the Grilled cheese and brisket sandwhich

It a good small town bbq spot. The brisket was okay, I wasn't a huge fan of the bbq sauce. But let me tell you a story. A couple of weeks ago I went to a Mexican restaurant as I had a hankering for some nachos. I paid like 12 or 14 buck for some "authentic" nachos. I was very not impressed with what I got for the price I paid, I mean to the point I'm considering dropping a star for that Mexican restaurant now that those memories are flooding back to me. "What does that story have to do with Davila's" you ask? Well they too have nachos and by god they were the kind of nachos I was expecting. The chips were solid and thick, and they didn't skimp on the brisket topping. The chicken was really good as well. Oh, and they have outdoor seating that is dog friendly.

Stopped by for lunch on a Sunday. Parking is available in their lot or nearby. They offer a drive-thru window, as well. Established in 1959, this family-run BBQ joint is a treat! I enjoyed the two meat plate( pork ribs, brisket) and my wife had the one meat plate (pork ribs.) My sides were coleslaw and savory green beans, hers were mac-and-cheese and pinto beans. My meats were delicious and tasty with just the right amount of spice and good smoke flavor. Barbecue sauce is provided but seemed unexceptional. My wife enjoyed her mac and cheese though it was a bit soupy. She truly loved the pinto beans, however, saying they tasted like her grandmother's! Total for 2 soft drinks, and our 1 and 2 meat plates was not quite $30. They also offer Meats by the pound and a variety of homemade desserts. Drinks and beers are also on offer. Indoor seating is picnic tables and booths. Outdoor seating is available. The atmosphere and cuisine made this a charming place to eat.

Had ribs sausage cream corn and coleslaw.Sausage was not bad and coleslaw was very good. Rib had hardly any meat. Corn was cool. I took corn to counter asking to have it warmed up. They brought me a new much warmer serving but it was 99% cream. I showed issue to owner which just chuckled. No offer to correct issue. We won’t be back.

Had a great meal tonight. Even though it was Friday we did not get the fish. We had a brisket grilled cheese and a brisket and sausage plate with beans and creamed corn. It was great with large portions too!
