Went there last night worst service ever ! We got our appetizers after our entrees came out Waitress has attitude didnt refill our tea no sweet and low Will think next time before we go
Shittiest chilis in tx. Never have enough staff. Call to check a wait time. 1 says 20 mins. Other says no wait. Arrive to a 30 minute wait. If this is a mom and pop owner you need to do some work with your store. Always a wait time. Never any good service. Have not had a positive experience at this chilis. Workers remove food from one table and pile it on another table instead of going to kitchen. In short words “Yall suck”. Figured after 10 strikes might aswell give yall some pointers. ??
We were a party of 11. The person at the desk said ok but never took our name and said they would work on it. 15 minutes later, the only good waiter came and asked if we were on the list and we said we thought. He looked and we were not so he put us on the list. They say 4 groups ahead of us with 2-6 people in each group. After having waited 45 minutes, we asked how much longer. The person then told us that tables still needed to be cleaned and that there were no wait staff to help our big group. Never again will any of us go to this Chilis.
Was staying at the hotel right next to here for a night and decided to get dinner for my son and I. I placed a online order for pick up two hours ahead of time. About 10 minutes prior to pick up I receive an email they didn't get my order due to a technical error.I was already on the way, when I asked the hostess she said their wifi went down a little while ago and to head to the to go station and they can help.Going to the to go area there was already 2 other customers waiting. We were still waiting 15 minutes later the guy in front of me left because it was taking to long to even talk to anyone. Finally get to the front and my order didn't go through and had to reorder it. Took another 25+ minutes to get our food. When the restaurant wasn't busy at all.Getting back to the hotel our orders were wrong. I asked for the shrimp bowl and I recieved chicken and the kids meal was missing cheese on the burgers. She asked if I wanted utensils, I said yes, those weren't in the bag either.Maybe we just arrived on a bad night, but I think the to go area could use some more organization and commutation as a team.
Ordered to go Wednesday night, the next day my partner contracted the stomach flu. Guessing it was from the food he ate here. Someone did not handle the food properly / or did not wash their hands. Please be sure your employees follow proper hand washing procedures , especially during this winter season where people can contract viruses easily. Hr had eaten the shrimp Cajun pasta. Shrimp probably was not throughly cooked either. Either way, thankfully I was fine the day after but my partner had gotten sick a few hours after eating from this location. Please be sure to double check if your food is cooked properly and ask management if their employees are keeping clean.
The young man working at the to go counter has two feet long nails touching the lids on the cups and everything else , and with no gloves? Absolutely disgusting and unsanitary. The manager clearly doesn’t care about food safety if he/she is allowing employees to work with nails that long. Plus we placed an order at 9pm and doesn’t get done til 10pm? It took another 45 + minutes just to receive the order and it was a small order, also order two large drinks and wanted to give 4 small cups in total since they were out of large cups, which is not equivalent. The to go waiter was touching all over the drinks anyways with his nails, so I didn’t even take the drinks anyways due to how unsanitary that is. Plus while I was waiting the guy said “they’re just now making your salad”, a salad takes one minute to assemble, but for them it took 5/10 minutes?. This is the second time I’ve had a problem with this location, last time was possibly food poisoning/getting sick from the food at this location. I decided to give this location one more chance because last time could of been an honest mistake but now something happens again, hopefully I don’t get sick again. Not coming back to this location. I’ll stick to new braunfels since they always get it on time, even when they’re jam packed. I recommend people to not eat at this location due to the fact that they allow employees to work this nails that long, gotten sick from the food, and the wait times. Totally unacceptable to where I am going to complain to corporate.
Over half the restaurant was empty yet they told us that it was going to be 35 to 40 minutes wait. Their food isn't that good, definitely not worth that kind of wait our chilis in Arizona keeps those tables full even with staff shortage.
I went to the restroom as we got there. The first thing that hit me was the stingy and burning in my eyes from the smell of ammonia/urine. The floor was sticky. I don't know what went down in that restroom but it must've been bad. It smelled worse than a port-o-potty on the beach during spring break. It seemed like they used whatever abomination that happened in the toilet to then mop the floors up. The stink was so bad I didn't even use the the facilities. We just left. By far the worst bathroom I've ever seen at a chain restaurant.
I guess I just need to stop eating at restaurants in Seguin. Apparently only two cooks came to work here today, and they are backed up. The restaurant is about a quarter full. I ordered some chips and salsa, but can't get a second order bin because they ran out. No ribs tonight either. Service is slow, and the hostess was not happy when we walked in an hour or so ago. Yeah, it's been an hour and all we've received is the one batch of chips and salsa and the two salads my kids ordered with their meal. I would also recommend repairs to the men's bathroom, and cleaning bathe kitchen area, especially if your going to allow people to see in to the kitchen. As I type this our food just showed up. One steak supposed to be medium rare, it showed up raw. No one int party is happy with their meals. Y'all are just sad and should just close the restaurant.
Stopped to get a bite.Really good deals.Enjoyed the meal and service.I would definitely stop back by here again.
