Stopped by when we drove through SM. Cheap drinks and amazing staff. Food looks amazing! Will definitely be back

suzie helped me get out of a very uncomfortable situation and i thank her so much for that because i felt incredibly comfortable because of the way a man approached me. she was able to handle drunk people exceptionally well. i love her and will be returning because of her. i love the porch and sometimes they get some questionable people but the bartenders are always on your side. the bartenders and boucers (especially suzie) I LOVE THE PORCH!!!
Me and my friend were there and the bartenders and bouncers made us feel so happy and safe! Some customers made us feel uncomfortable but all the workers made sure we were okay!!!

Staying in town for the weekend, and came here as a recommendation to someone that was with us. We LOVED it. The food was awesome, had a burger, the mac burger, spicy garlic wings and the chicken bacon ranch pita. We also got motz sticks and onion rings for an appetizer. The service was awesome as well. We had Adriana as our server and she was wonderful, gave recommendations and just visited with us. Also Kevin we got to talk with as well and also gave recommendations and was just an all around awesome and hilarious guy! We enjoyed both of them greatly! They actually seemed or acted like they truly enjoyed their job(which is rare anymore)! We loved the vibe as well and none of us felt rushed. Also had a great beer/drink selection! We will absolutely be back!

The Porch is my favorite bar in San Marcos! It's got a great super chill laid back vibe with great music and the staff is so nice and friendly! I would definitely recommend spending time here!
I used to love coming here with my friends. We’ve shared so many wonderful memories. Some of my favorites were on their swings. I visited last night and saw that they were gone. I’m really bummed about this. Please bring them back!
