Boudin balls, fried catfish, gumbo & bread pudding were fantastic! They had an issue with their fryer that had me waiting an extra 5 -10 minutes - no big deal to me. They brought me out some bottled water to make up for it. There were 3 boudin balls in my order and they were huge. Catfish was thick and the batter was light and crispy. I would have loved a tad more rice in my gumbo (I’m proly the only person that wants more rice) but the flavor was nice and hubs loved the bread pudding.

My friend and I both had the catfish which was perfect --- crispy, piping hot & not greasy. Fried okra & hushpuppies also great. Generous portions meant no room for dessert, but maybe next time. ??

Was greeted with a smile and kindness! The catfish was so delicious, best around these parts! I seriously hate the taste of most every vegetable! The guy offered me some root veggies to try and I was so scared, I would never voluntarily eat those! I don’t have a poker face, so I was scared. I was polite and tried some, OMG, it was a miracle! I truly enjoyed those root veggies! Thank you! I'll definitely be back!!
