INCREDIBLE BBQ!! Had the brisket, sausage, mashed potatoes and coleslaw and my wife had the same meat, green beans and cabbage. We both agreed it was some of the best bbq we’ve ever had!
Juicy and flavorful brisket.Good sausage with little bit of spice.Loved the mac n cheesePotato salad good.Sauce had good flavor, but be sure to ask for extra.Family pack. 1 lb of brisket and 1lb sausage plus 2 sides, bread pickles and onions. 1 gal of tea was a little over $40.Can't beat it now days.
Hands down better than Black's! We got the Sally, a link of the Hatch/Gouda sausage, and the Pulled Pork Sandwich special. Everything was super moist and seasoned well. The sides were also all very tasty. Only thing I would have changed was that the pulled pork was a tad greasy, but other than that, I would highly recommend stopping here. We'll be back!
We've tried quite a few BBQ places in the area. This BBQ is pretty good and it doesn't require sauce. The prices are very reasonable. The hatch sausage was a treat. The sides were cold. I think the loaded mashed potatoes has potential. The Mac & cheese was flavorless. But, I don't go to a BBQ joint for the sides. They got the main course right!
Stopped by while training in San Marcos and the sausage had a crisp snap to it with some spicy kick at the end. If your looking for a decent place for barbeque this is the place for you.The pork ribs were ok and I say that as they were a bit dry and bland. The brisket was a bit dry dry as well and could have used some seasoning. It was an ok place.

First time coming here today and man was this some of the best BBQ that we have i have ever had. Staff was extremely welcoming and friendly and offered plenty of options for us. Brisket and ribs stand out to me. Would recommend 10/10 to anyone who is visiting san marcos to come visit and experience it for yourself. Definitely coming back when we are in the area again
