I had a bad experience with the plate I ordered when we went for breakfast, I wanted just a breakfast plate of barbacoa I wasn't expecting to pay $16.00 I feel it's overpriced compared to a combo plate with 4 items on it. Also, while we are sitting there the lady that owns the place just keeps looking at us that makes us feel uncomfortable, she needs to have better people skills or stay out of sight. We told them that we will never go back again. NO TIP!!!

This is our favorite spot in San Marcos for good Tex Mex! They are always so nice, their salsas are killer, and their cheese enchiladas are total comfort food.My husband has been coming here for over 15 years, and I became a fan as soon as I was introduced.

Very enjoyable experience. Clean and friendly, a place one could make a frequent visit to. I ordered a classic dish of wuevos rancheros. Eggs were perfectly cooked, and served on top of a crunchy corn tortilla. Potatoes and beans were equally enjoyable. Hot sauce did not disappoint, offering up sufficient spice to flavor each bite. Coffee was equally enjoyable, and the staff made sure my cup was never empty!

Great Mexican food. Outstanding salsa

Great food served promptly by friendly, attentive, and kind people that will make you feel welcome

4 dollars for a tea isn’t reasonable. The food was overpriced and mid at best.

Delicious tacos, the barbacoa is my favorite and the iced coffee is on point.

Horrible from the start. Walked in at 10:30AM, was handed stale chips and salsa and was not notified that they were not free until 11:00AM after we received check. The menudo was just barely okay passing and was served to me only warm and with store bought tortillas. I was sooo disappointed. We ordered pancakes for my toddler which was served with a weird tasting syrup. Overall, low quality, overpriced food.

I really wish I would’ve read the reviews before I came to this sloppy joint. Way over price for quality of food. Tamales were 18$ for a dozen and they weren’t prepared correctly. They weren’t finished cooking. Small order of menudo was 9.59$ and barely had any taste. Don’t recommend and very unsatisfied.

Green enchiladas were very good & service was attentive & friendly. Complimentary homemade tamale was tasty.
