If I could give 0 stars I would. I arrived at 9:33 and watched the car in front of me get their order taken. Proceeded to have my order partially taken, and then the worker just went quiet. Did not say one more word. And waited for 20 minutes. Eventually, we pulled up at 9:52 to the window. The worker then said they aren’t allowed to take orders past 9:45, but I was ordering before 9:45 to begin with. Also, had the worker of told me that I would have left. Instead they were rude at the window and all laughing. An embarrassment of a restaurant… and the worker said you’re not going to do anything about it so leave.
So finally got the check after 5 weeks , Maria is the new GM , and said she let the problem employees go / fired. Thank you Maria for being so pleasant and not arguing over the check . I appreciate what you did , and good luck . That place has really made Popeyes a bad restaurant for a very long time . Maria thanks again , my daughter will appreciate the check since it's her birthday this week
Service is Very slow, employee(s) are not friendly/professional and it felt like they had attitude when spoken to on the speaker and at the window for some reason.Not a pleasant vibe visiting this location.Picked up an order for a delivery, asked for a straw, was snapped that everything was in the bag and drove away. Realized there was on fact no straw.
Moves at a snail pace. Wasn't even busy and it still took 30 minutes. Got the impression that they aren't well organized.However, the woman at the front was friendly and the food was up to Popeyes standards, so that keeps it from being one star.That being said, don't bother coming here.
I received my chicken cold and was missing chicken i ordered the 12 peice family meal and got a 9 peice family some how they cant count in this location cause this is not the first time this has happened
Dry, old chicken and no breast, 2 legs instead. Waited a long time knowing you were short handed but willing to be patient. Gal sounded stressed big time. Upper management needs to figure it out.
I love Popeyes but have only had bad experiences at Kyle(yes the new one)? and the two (BOTH) San Marcos locations not just once! but every time I go to one of these locations ! A few times spinding 25 minutes or more trying to get my order straightened out while my family waits in the car ... PS Don't even try to use the App HOLD OUT FOR AUSTIN OR NEW BRAUNFELS
They are really under staffed, the drive thru employee that they would be right with me and never came back . After 10 minutes I just left. Do better Popeyes!
Waited 10 minutes to order after I pulled up to the screen then waited another 20 minutes for them to serve 3 cars. Got the worst drink of my life not sure what it was but definitely not what I ordered. The chicken was stringy almost. Overall worst Popeyes experience I’ve had and I’m a major fan. It is hit or miss at this location though but unfortunately more times than not a miss.
I work for DoorDash and I always avoid accepting orders here. The drive thru wait is always 45 minutes to an hour long. The staff is always incredibly rude. Avoid going to this location at all costs. I’d recommend the other location in San Marcos near academy. I’ll never go back.
