Ordered tonight at 7:43. It’s now 10:25 and I haven’t received my order. Tried calling the store over 10 times, never got a person on the phone. I just want my money back.
I would give this store 0 stars if it was possible. Seriously ordered pizza and its been over 2 hours for delivery when online it said 35-45 min. Tried calling the store over 10 times and sat on hold each time until the call disconnected. THIS IS ABSOLUTELY ABSURD. If you cant get my pizza here on time, fine. BUT answer the phone so I can at least cancel the order.
Ordered delivery. 2 pizzas, 1 cheese bread, 1 Pepsi , only received 1 pizza, and 2HOURS LATER!! What a horrible experience. The single pizza I did receive was cold and delivered by door dash, which meant I could not complain to them because it’s never their fault apparently. All it takes is the simple ability to read and count. Guess this was a little too much for the employees at this location. I would say don’t quit your day job, but I guess this doesn’t apply!!!
Do not believe the person taking your order for delivery when they tell you 24 to 34 minutes!!!!It took 90 minutes!!!!After waiting one hour, I called the manager to check on our order and was told it was out for delivery and the driver knew where to deliver it. It seriously took another half hour to arrive and was ice cold.We had been driving across Texas all day and were just too tired to want to fight more traffic to go out to a restaurant, and then had the worst pizza delivery experience of our lives. We are in our 60’s and not new to ordering pizza delivered to our motels. This will be the last time we ever order from a Papa Johns!
Missing item on my delivery order. Attempted to contact the store for over 30min to resolve the issue and never got to talk to anybody in the store. Customer service just transfers you to the store that doesn't pick up the phone. I use to love Papa john's and now have no intentions on using them again.
Not one to rate papa John’s pizza but I’d like to give a shout out to this one. While it’s unnerving to arrive for your take out and see that they are way behind on order fulfillment they still managed to stay focused and get everyone handled. Not sure what happened the day I was there but I don’t see how you can be successful with three employees working at rush hour. Sure that wasn’t their plan so I’m gonna be constrictive here. Service was friendly despite appearing over whelmed.
Ordered a pizza at 9PM, went well over an hour with no updates on the pizza tracker, and when I tried to call the store absolutely nobody would pick up. I had to call an Uber to go to the store since their online system doesn't seem to have a way to let you cancel orders, and when I got there, still on hold with the phone, they told me the delivery driver had JUST LEFT WITH MY PIZZA.I can understand being short staffed and orders taking awhile, I don't understand using that as an excuse to just completely ignore the phone and your customers trying to contact you. Even at my job we don't get to ignore the phone because we're busy and don't have much staff, it's completely unprofessional. Got a refund, but didn't matter much because I had to pay for an Uber to and from the store.
Bad experience here on Super Bowl Sunday. Ordered some pizzas around 3ish got there around 4ish, no biggie. I have a ring camera… and unfortunately they driver didn’t believe in practicing good hygiene by wiping his nose with his hands before handing me my pizza… felt like my pizza was just bouncing hands between him and the young kid who was delivering with him as I saw them both with my pizzas. called the store to tell them about the poor hygiene. She replaced my pizza but I insisted on going to pick it up myself this time. Oh, when picking up I saw the same delivery person getting ready to take more pizzas out. Hope he washed his hands. Don’t think I’ll be returning here anytime soon.
DO NOT EAT HERE. Go to Gumby’s instead. Higher quality, timely and actually cheaper. We ordered at 4 and were told it would be 25 mins. After an hour, we called multiple times, unable to get ahold of anyone. My boyfriend went in person to cancel after an hour and a half. This lady working there said our order wasn’t in their system even though we had a confirmation email and used my account. And she added there was nothing they could do. She was very rude and clearly didn’t care about anything. After a few minutes of trying to explain we ordered and paid at this location, she suddenly said it was delivered and it just popped up. While this happened, I was at the house and our order was at the front door. But the driver didn’t knock or anything and our food was room temperature. So 1 hour and 40 mins for cold pizza and rude/near impossible to get a hold of service. I order from Papa Johns a lot and this was by far the worst experience.
My one star review comes after being a loyal customer these past few years. Tonight I was very disappointed when we showed up after waiting for 50 mins to first hear they didn't have our order. This confused my husband and had the cashier print an old receipt from 2020 that didn't make sense. And told him door dash delivered pizza at 1 pm (we don't use door dash). I came in and showed my receipt then he then gave us a refund because the order wasnt made.I asked "what happened". He said the GM scheduled only 4 people while it was Valentines and kept the online order going which had them 40 orders behind. I was like "oh so it wasnt techincal. You had my order?" He then nodded. I unfortunately will never order from here when I especially know it's busy like a holiday. I understand being short staffed but I felt bad seeing them not fulfill more orders. They will lose people in this kind of work environment and will lose more customer's.
