I am a first time customer and was very impressed by the taste, quality, and quantity of the meals I purchased. The fried catfish and fried shrimp were absolutely perfect. The fries were fries, good fries, but dang that fish and shrimp were excellent. Get some Xtra rolls they were pretty dang good too. The price of each meal was decent and included tartar sauce and cocktail sauce.

Excellent service. I strongly recommend Khalid Chunu to those who wants to trade and invest in Forex/crypto. He made over $8,400 with my little capital $700 While managing my account in less than 7 days. I couldn’t have asked for more! Contact him : Email: [email protected] WhatsApp: +971556492765

We bought 4 catfish dinners. The food was good. We also got the gumbo which was very good. It would be good if they offered Cole slap. My only concern is the price which I thought was a bit steep. For what we bought was almost 50.00. I can go to Clear Springs restaurant and get twice that much for the same price. I guess that's why they're so dang busy! Anyway, OMG is close and good. Would go back occasionally.

I’m from Dallas but frequent San Marcos because my parents now live here. I also graduated from SWT, which was how I found this place. It’s not far my old dorm Blanco. I got the shrimp boil bag and added sausage and was utterly disappointed- the shrimp was over cooked, the potatoes under cooked, sausage was disgusting and there was an ingredient in the boil that I believe was likely a clove. 🤮 I’m only giving them 3 stars because of the service, they were very nice and the turn around time was less than 5 minutes. I would recommend staying away from the boil bags.

OMG, they are so good. Great food and great customer service.

Everything I order is always perfect. Their Gumbo is a must have. Fried fish is crunchy and seasoned to perfection. Shrimp and sausage in a bag will never ever disappoint.

Scrimp was excellent. Gumbo was OK...liquid was from crab boil bag and too much sausage but otherwise ok for Texas (it is not traditional south Louisiana gumbo per say). Worth the drive to eat here. In a tough part of town but I felt safe. Don't expect a nice restaurant as it is a dive both inside & out....if that bothers you, take out. Cooked fresh and hot.

Ok, so my gumbo was a) watery-bad roux b)no flavor. No spice, no flavor. I grew up on Cajun food my whole life in Houston with Louisiana friends cooking me some of the best gumbo in the world…. However what I will say was amazing about this place is the characters that came in here. I saw it inside for a little over an hour and talked to you about six different people. Some wonderful elderly people all had amazing stories. One knew my family from 40 years ago back in South Texas. I really want to like the food, but the owner needs to realize that that is not gumbo. And how about getting some bottles of Tabasco? And how about doing some recycling here? the level of waste was literally killing me. All the plastic and cans and everything being thrown away.

My husband and I found OMG about a year ago. Our experience had always been pleasant being that we've seen the same familiar faces and great customer service. But this evening we had a completely different vibe. Not only were there not the same faces, but a completely different staff, the food was less then desirable. Usually our crawdads are nice and fresh and the shrimp is cooked to perfection, accentuated by a side of potatoes, corn, and sausage. This time or crawdads were beyond overcooked, most of the dads were mushy and others were overcooked and stick to the shells. Possibly reheated from the pervious day.t The shrimp was chewy and it wasn't piping hot. We ordered a bag of sausage with corn and potatoes and only got potatoes. We wanted a lid for the spice seasoning to take home the costly shrimp for the dogs and the staff replied "we don't carry lids" which is odd for those customers who order to go menus and ask for the seasoning. Wouldn't you have to have a lid? I must say we were sadly disappointed and questioning whether we will visit again. This was April 16th 2022 at 7:00 pm

Never a bad thing to say about this spot! Owner is super down to earth and cares about his community and it shows in his business. Food is bomb! Just the right seasoning, fair prices and friendly service. Loyal as hell to this place.
