Best breakfast tacos I've ever had! Love the Loli's Combo. And the salsa is outstanding. I have to stop here at least once every time I come visit my parents in San Marcos.
Absolutely amazing food and incredible service.Just the sweetest people. They even gave me a side of bacon for my puppy in the car.This place is nothing short of excellent.
Have to hit this place up EVERY time I am in town!! Best breakfast tacos around. I keep saying I'm going back to try other things but have not yet. They are friendly, the portions are generous and oh so tasty! Recommend, the lines are long but move fairly quickly. Get there early while some folks are still asleep. Lol
So I want to start by saying I come to this restaurant often before I go to work because it’s right by my house and usually it’s great! But today I just had a really unpleasant experience.So I pull up like normal to get some tacos and there was only one person in front of me, but the wait seemed to be a lot longer than usual, but I didn’t sweat it.I then get to the window and it’s a woman I’ve never seen work the window before. I order my regular, and normally the ladies will ask if I want red or green, but she didn’t, and she also just seemed annoyed already but It was whatever. So when she handed me my bag I looked inside and she gave me red which was fine. The problem came when I looked at the cups of salsa. I noticed immediately that they must’ve downgraded on their salsa cup size because these new cups were TINY (I’ll post a pic for reference) and there was no way that two of these small cups would be enough for my two tacos, especially when they don’t even fill the cups up all the way. So I asked the lady nicely if I could get another thing of salsa. She rudely says “one per taco” without even looking my way. And then I said that I wouldn’t mind paying extra if that was the issue, and she legit looked up and then just ignored me and went to go help someone else. At that point I just gave up and left.I literally never leave reviews for places, but I felt like I needed to say something because honestly the situation was just off putting and frustrating. On top of that I was right because when I got the time to eat the tacos, these little cups didn’t even come close to being enough.I would also like to say I normally get great service from this place and the two normal ladies at the front are always so kind. I would like to say I think they definitely need to bring back the normal sized salsa cups (they just had them not a couple of days ago) and if not, at least make an option where we as customers can buy extra if needed. Lastly, I just want to note that I probably wouldn’t have had as much of a problem or even left a review had that lady, whoever she was, not been so damn rude and dismissive for no reason.
This place is definitely rated ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ great food 🌮 the most amazing women work in this little stand… I am a very happy repeat customer 🙏
The “Combo Ranchero” Gonna be honest, it was so-so. A little slopped together. There was more chucks of bacon than there were eggs! Salsa Verde or “Green Salsa” and the guacamole were really, really good. Tortilla was good too. Just fix the egg-bacon ratio and the amount in the taco, it was really difficult to eat because of this. Definitely need a fork or an extra tortilla. Also, eggs seemed a little over cooked but again, there wasn’t much eggs to begin with.
Used to come here many years ago. Stopped by for a visit and these tacos do NOT disappoint. Highly recommend calling your order in and picking it up at the window. Lines get long!
Despite the long lines the service was very quick and friendly. I have driven by this place at least a dozen times, picking up or dropping off my son and I have to say it’s the first time I’ve decided to stop and have a bite. Lolita the owner, was so nice and really made me feel at home. The barbacoa taco was fantastic! The salsas had the right amount of flavor and heat. I I especially liked the red sauce it was different then the green sauce and had a bit of a smoky taste to it. I most definitely will be coming back here often!
Completely WRONG ORDER.. ?? We ordered a pound of "Fajita" meat and I received "Barbacoa"... I also was shorted 1 tortilla... Didn't receive any cilantro but it always came with the meal. Paid $23.50 (prices have increased ?) and was given the wrong meat (we didn't notice it untill we opened it after they closed), shorted a tortilla, and no cilantro. We have gone to Loli's many times. I've never seen the girl who was working the walk-up window and she seemed not fluent in English. Nobody ate. Can't afford to return to Loli's with big orders being completely wrong and missing multiple items. Also, we wish they would use cheddar or something better than American cheese. They ONLY USE American cheese... ???
