This place is awesome! Great view to work, great lighting, great decor/comfortable seating, great coffee, great food. Their coffee is on the more bitter/acidic side and has a really nice floral tone. Stayed here working for like 5 hours on my way through San Marcos and would definitely be a regular if it were closer to where I live. The barista was cool too and the vibes were just awesome. Highly recommend!
Great cold brew coffee and - surprisingly great breakfast tacos. Be sure to ask for the green sauce.
I couldn't imagine a more welcoming and enjoyable coffeeshop. I live around the corner, and its become a morning routine to walk here, get my latte, and just enjoy the atmosphere. All of the baristas are friendly, professional, and make a good chai tea latte. 10 outta 10

I love this place! I’m an avid vanilla iced latte drinker, and lamppost coffee has one of the best I’ve had in San Marcos. It might honestly be my favorite. The coffee tasted so good, and the sweetness wasn’t overpowering or not enough, it was a perfect level of sweet. Definitely check this place out, I got the iced vanilla latte with oat milk and it was heavenly!
Baristas are THE BEST. They are truly wonderful people, and they genuinely care about coffee and the people that visit their shop. Shadowed by them is their coffee, which is no dwarf. Best coffee in town. 10 out of 5 stars. You won't be going anywhere else.
