There's actually a few places to find Sushi in San Marcos, but I can rave about Kobe! We were seated quickly (10 minute or so), and had an order in soon after. The meal came out perfect -- salads first, a few appetizers, and an overwhelming plate of sushi to share!Our waitress was on top of it -- she was very attentive and very pleasant throughout our entire meal.We had a bit of confusion in the parking lot, and when we asked to speak with the manager, the staff and the manager took our concerns very seriously -- above and beyond, food and service, for sure.
We came on a Sunday and did the all you can eat option. They have a good selection of items to choose from. The waiter was very friendly and the business wasn't super full so we got the food quickly. Everything we ate was delicious. The only reason I took a star away was because they didn't tell us it was cash only until the bill came. Thankfully there was an atm nearby so we were able to get cash.
We order all you can eat sushi. Take into consideration its not the BEST sushi, but it decent for sure. Good bang for your buck.
Excellent service. Excellent food. Worth the price. Our kids loved the experience and wanted MORE! We will return. Next time I'll get the kobe steak.
We have been here before and have excellent experience all 3 times. The waitress was polite and friendly. The food delicious and generous in portions. We love coming here.
The restaurant itself is nice. We got the Chicken teriyaki lunch plate and just by first looking at it I could tell the vegetables were over cooked but everything else looked great. Taste wise, the chicken had a burnt taste and was too salty, the fried rice was over seasoned as well.
Have lived in SM all my life and this is the very first time we have ever came here and our 1st experience was by far the best, the service was amazing the food was delicious and our Chef Jimmy was the best, ask for him to be your chef he was super awesome, very fun and enjoyable and made us feel very comfortable. My family and I will definitely be back!
Went to Kobe steak house in San Marcos today. It was good and tasty New York strip and shrimp with rice. Shrimp was ok grilled but not much flavor rice veggies tasty have one complaint but steak was good but would like the whole steak not 7 pieces cut up. But Restauaraunt can split one steak between two customers and double money just saying
Very disappointed in this place. Maybe they had an off night - but we got 50$ worth of sushi and wound up only eating half of it. The worst sushi we have ever tasted. This salad was a joke.It was our first time there and I don't think we will be back.
