Wonderful Cafe. Coffee is delicious and staff is very friendly
I really wanted to like this place. The coffee shop in general had a cool atmosphere, but the coffee was extremely sour, and no one working knew how to do latte art. Customer service wasn’t the best, and it seemed like no one knew what they were doing. Also, while I was sitting inside of the shop I heard a lot of “activity” in the ceilings. I understand that sometimes rodents are inevitable, but it made me very uneasy and I had to leave after that. I will not be back.
Very adorable atmosphere however the espresso tasted sour and the customer service was meh.
Love the place, ambience and the coffee in general. But if you are not serving latte art, you should not be advertising it in the first place. The barista told me they do have one person who does the latte art, seems like you would get lucky if you happen to be there when he is working- which I don’t know when!
I ordered coffee a couple times in Kahvie Coffee. They had a big choice of plant based milk for your latte or cappuccino. I love the interior of this place, very beautiful and comfortable!
They advertised they would be open till 9 for college study nights, but I arrived at 7:30 and they were closed. This happened to me TWO nights in a row. As a business, don’t advertise if you’re not gonna do it. This place is constantly out of menu items that they advertise. It’s extremely unprofessional and disappointing. I went in to get my regular blueberry muffin latte, it tasted extremely sour…… And the two baristas were sort of snarky… And clueless about the basic questions I asked. Seriously? You don’t know anything about the menu at the place you work at? I used to love this place and considered myself a regular, but now I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Do yourself a favor and go to Jo’s cafe instead!
It is a chill vibe to just come and study or hang with a friend. I brought my kids to grab some hot chocolate and breakfast. The food was excellent. They were very nice and let us know their waffle machine was malfunctioning and that is why our waffles took extra long. It happens! The star deduction was because we ordered drinks then were told they didn’t have them 5 mins later, which is totally understandable, but they didn’t refund the difference. I’m not complaining about a dollar difference. As a business owner, I believe you should make it up to the customer and if you aren’t going to refund the difference, at least upgrade the exchange to a bigger size. Other than that, super good!
I googled bakery and I found this place. There was not a baked good to be found. The coffee was excellent and if it weren't so far away this would be my go-to coffee place in San Marcos.
LOVE this place! The aesthetic is stunning, the staff are super friendly and accommodating, and the coffee/food is delicious. I can’t wait to stop by again!
12 years in America and this is the first coffee shop that I truly like !
