Amazing Mexican food. They have large portion sizes and the wait staff are very friendly. Prices are very affordable too. Review by Gabriel Culiat
It was absolutely amazing.....all flavors were over the top great. I agree with the other comments about the corn tortilla being very substantial, with superior texture and flavor, but I don't understand how it doesn't have flour in it. My dining partner suggested that lard is the secret ingredient. I live in Austin in a neighborhood that is very friendly to people who eat Gluten free, but this place was so great it is worth the 40 minutes it took to get home times 2, any day of the week.
Everything was great, wish we could sit then get our orders taken since we still have to wait in line, order, then sit down and wait.. They almost forgot 1 of my tacos but the lady walking around cleaning and picking up finished plates etc would check on us and we mentioned we needed 1 more she then reminded them. So, we did get all we ordered in a timely manner and food was good. However, Fuego Bowl did not come with chalupa shell or anything like that. It just literally comes in an acrylic bowl type.
Fuego is an awesome spot to grab some fresh takes on tacos. You definitely get value for the money you spend here. The portions are BIG... and I mean big. On top of that, they are open 24/7. I've stopped in myself plenty of times after having a few drinks with friends and it always hits the spot. The only fault I've personally had is a bit of inconsistency in the food. I've been here at least 30 - 40 times in the past 7 years and have only had a couple instances where my food wasn't quite as hot and delicious as my other visits.I highly recommend giving Fuego a try! Awesome portions, tasty food, and you can stop in at any time of the day.4/5
Best tacos in San Marcos. I have had this place for breakfast, lunch and dinner a couple days and it never gets old. tortillas are made FRESH and they are not stingy with their amazing tasting ingredients. I asked for guacamole and EVERY BITE of my taco had the taste. Tacos are fairly priced for their size as well. TEN THOUSAND PERCENT would recommend. who knows you might see me here the day you decide to try it.
This is not your usual taco stop. Love their Dr Pepper bbq Mac cheese taco. It's awesome! El President can't go wrong! Give this place a try if ever in San Marcos or College Station.
Similar to Torchy’s Tacos, Fuegos serves large tacos with various different toppings and meats. I enjoyed the hippie taco, but I’m sure there are all good options (chicken, beef, etc.). The chips and queso is also a solid option to have on the side. Average price per person ($8-13).
Ester is the best!!!! Been here twice and she has always gone beyond with everyone in the restaurant. Today was slammed, no drinks , but she took care of everyone!! Thank you for the amazing service.
Delicious! The construction sucks but the food is worth it. The portions are nice size and cooked perfectly, not dry, not tough. Very tasty. Staff is friendly! No photos cause it got in my belly!
I really enjoy these tacos. They have breakfast and lunch/dinner tacos. Queso is so delicious. Guacamole is always fresh. If you're looking for plates an entree and sides? This is not the place. But their tacos are a full meal.
