If you are in this area and do not stop to have a cocktail or dinner here, you are missing out! The staff is attentive, friendly, and just the kindest people to be around. The cocktails (Kissing Tree is a MUST!) are to die for and the food is beyond phenomenal. The owner is amazing too and makes you feel like family. I’d rate this place higher if I could. Truly the best.
first time here to celebrate my sister's bday today and we loved the food, the atmosphere and outside patio! the Owner came to our table and was awesome! great place we will be back!
We had a spectacular time and loved everything so much it's our new favorite place for date night.The food is incredible and their craft cocktails are amazing!The service is absolutely stellar! We haven't been impressed like this in a long time.The ingredients are carefully sourced and prepared with such intricate detail it will make your taste buds sing!I give Cody's Restaurant and Bar my highest recommendation!
At night, I love the candlelight. It's a cozy, romantic place. Definitely other diners near you. But I really like the coziness. The candle and lighting can be seen in drink photo.I've been twice. The 14 oz bone-in pork chop has been great both times. Biting into a piece with crispy bacon jam on the top. OMG, heaven!I don't know a single thing about short rib. No idea what it's supposed to be. But It was very, very tender.I had the butternut squash risotto twice.1st time, knocked it out of the park. Fantastic! So incredibly rich and creamy. Not runny, not dry. SO much flavor! Parmigiano reggiano really stands out. Pancetta taste and texture was perfect.2nd time it was too dry. More sticky than creamy. Pancetta was chewy.Regardless, still 1 of my favorite places.Drinks are STRONG!
Great cocktails and excellent food!
I must admit I was nervous. But my Red Fish was amazing. My Long Island was great and the service was The best! The bartenders kept me with drinks. I must say the was the best experience. Did I mention my food was perfectly prepared. Thank you Team I really enjoyed myself.
I can't believe it took this long to discover Cody's Restaurant Bar & Patio. Located in a small shopping center, it inconspicuously sits. Once you enter, the decorations here give off a really groovy music scene vibe. One look at the menu and you know Cody's don't mess around. Duck Poutine & the Yellowfin Tuna Tartare were our appetizers and did not disappoint. The Poutine would make our friend's in the Great White North envious. The Tuna Tartare was fresh, delicious and has a slight hint of melon taste which surprises you, but makes you want more. They were serving a lunch menu, so I opted for the Heartbrand Akaushi Short Rib Sandwich. Amazing! They take dry-aged Akaushi ribs and cook sous vide for 24 hours. Add some Gruyere, caramelized onions and mushrooms and served on a Ciabatta roll. Say what? I left Cody's with a smile on my face and looking forward to my next visit to try some of the other great options on their menu.
I can’t say enough positive things about this restaurant. From the outside, it looks like a basic bar/restaurant but it exceeded our expectations. The food is excellent, and the staff is beyond friendly. We had a toddler with us who was having a cow because she was HANGRY and the waitstaff couldn’t be more patient and helpful. We asked the waiter for his recommendations since we haven’t been here before and everything was great including their incredible macaroons. I highly recommend this restaurant and I hope to come here again with my family ?
We had such an amazing experience. Cody and his staff went above and beyond to make this birthday dinner memorable. we all had different meals and none disappointed.
This place was situated in a good location and the traffic was light. The waitress Jea was very polite and knowledgeable about the food and house favorite. I went with the blackened fish tacos as well as my son and my wife went with the burger. The tacos came 2 fish tacos with rice and beans and WOW, I expressed how I can eat these tacos everyday. The rice and beans were good, but possibly would have liked an option to switch. My wife loved the burger as well.
