We have been here prior to today's visit and everything has been good. And you would think the experience/dinning would be great since it wasn't busy nor full. But today I don't know if they were under staffed , because the tables were left dirty for quite some time. When asked for the drinks we went ahead and ordered the appetizers as well. After asking for our appetizers, because they were taking longer than it should; they said they should be out soon. Whe they did arrive, one of our appetizers came in incomplete (chips, salsa and no guacamole). So we had to ask for the guacamole and he said I'll go ✔️ since they said they havw brought them but clearly they haven't. Then they brought our boneless wings but we didn't have silverware. We asked for some silverware and he said he'll bring some, but after the waiter passing by several times without any, I had to ask another waiter for some. Then after eating the appetizers, we waited a while for they guys to stop at our table but he didn't and the same lady that brought our silverware did stop and took our order. At that point we were confused who our waiter was, because the 1st guy kept passing by but didn't stop at our table. And yes, the food took about the same time as the appetizers. We guessed that she was our waiter then, and she was more attentive than the waiter before her. At least she made it better.

mercer was an absolute amazing waitress! i had to make sure i got her name before we left to give her credit.when we got there we got seated fairly quick, but we sat around for maybe like 10 minutes until we had to pull mercer aside to ask if we could order drinks and put in our order (we were pretty hungry) she explained they had a mix up with the tables. she apologized and was very nice and polite about the situation. she took our order right away and even gave us a few complimentary sides to make up for it ? one of the best experiences i’ve had, 10/10 recommend because of mercer!best ?? waitress ?? ever ??
Food was excellent. Service the worst I've ever had at dine-in Chili's. Ordered a drink, waited 20 minutes and reminded server of my order. I am an unreal tipper. Usually 30% or more. She was AWOL most of the time. I should've made sure the person who actually delivered my order got the tip. Meal took forever, but I don't blame her for that. Just truly fake, and after she knew I was not happy, avoided us. Still got 20%, but did not earn it.
We had no issues waiting 45 minutes to be seated. We ordered bar drinks, after about 30 minutes, I asked our waitress for some water since we still hadn't gotten our drinks. She said I'm so sorry, brings our now waterd down drinks and no water. Then, another 30 minutes passed and no food. My children became frustrated and impatient. The restaurant was busy around 7-8 but we were there till 9:30. The tables around us stayed dirty with used food plates. It smelled disgusting, not once did our waitress come by to say, sorry that your order is taking long. We are good tippers and shouldn't have been treated so poorly.long.Nothing.
Have not been to a Chili's in quite a while. Went for lunch and it was great. I had the brisket quesadilla and it was really great! Only item I might say is that there isn't enough sour cream on the plate but you can request more. Around the table with me there were some salads and chicken sandwiches. Everyone enjoyed.
worst experience, service was awful and not attentive. i guess they don’t wear name tags for a reason because it was so bad.i’m not one to do write bad reviews but this deserves one. food is good but all around experience at the san marcos location was awful.
We usually sit in the bar area and despite the bartender having to tend bar and wait on tables, the service is always great! The manager came by a couple of times to check on us. Great customer service here all around!
Small wait, but totally understandable! Very busy night! A few errors with our orders, but they were quickly resolved by our great waitress!
