First time here... Beautiful.. Inside... Ordered a menudo w/ barbacoa taco... And hubby ordered. An omlette... Was excited to taste the menudo... And then disappointed... Not alot of meat or hominy... Alot of juice though... Was very disappointed... Barbacoa taco... Was ok... A little dry.. And had to keep adding salt to it... To taste... My hubby said his omlette was to crunchy... They didnt cook the veggies long enough... So he said its a maybe... To come back...
Their chips and salsa was very good and the service was competent and unobtrusive. While it wasn’t the best Tex-Mex or Mexican food we’ve ever had, it was very very good. We didn’t try any bar drinks but they looked good as they went to other tables. There was plenty of parking, the food was very good, and the music was great. We came here. Because the first place has closed, but we are glad we ended up here. The only thing we wish we had done was check out the bakery. Maybe next trip!
Great location..right off the highway. Love shopping at the Bakery while waiting for your meal. Temperature was a little cold which caused my tostada plate to get cold by the time I ate my caldo.but it was good though. Waitress was really nice and kept checking on us. Great prices for such a nice restaurant.
Had a great meal and enjoyed some awesome salsa!! Would have been 5 stars, but the bartender missed one of our drinks and parking is always a challenge there.. but to be fair... We did go on Graduation weekend when it was rather hectic..
Didn’t eat here, just had drinks. The overall ambiance was beautiful. The bartender was great and attentive. I will definitely have to go back to try a meal. Parking is very limited. Not sure where everyone parks since this location is fairly large inside.
The salsas were flavorful & tasty while the guac was rather bland like just plain avocado? The steak fajitas were ok but I actually liked the smaller portion size. Decent place & good service.
BEAUTIFUL drinks and food was amazing! Tortilla chips had such a wonderful crisp to them and the salsa was delicious! Family had Nachos, Fajitas, Chicken Fajitas and Grilled Shrimp w/rice. We all left so full!
Waitress was bad ... Did not come around to see if we needed anything else. Asked a different Waiter for a food item he didn't bring it.. Our waitress was no where around. Asked a another waitress for my food item .. if she could bring it before my food got cold. She did bring it. We are not going back there again. Being Veteran day I for a discount.. waitress said No.
This place is so good, I've eaten here twice in the same week! Their burritos and Nachos are really good, the margaritas are good and the service is top notch ?Authentic Mexican cuisine!
What a beautiful place to have a wonderful dinner! The margarita flight was wonderful as you can see. Nicest place to eat in San Marcos so far!
