There was an Cinco de Mayo event going on in the courthouse grounds and we didn't want to eat from a tent and Styrofoam. The Nachos were alright but the home made pie was great.
I have eaten breakfast at Café On The Square many times. The food is very good and the staff is very pleasant and attentive to the customers, and the price is fair. Thank You!
Great, old, traditional coffee shop/Cafe. Right on the historic San Marcos Square, across from the old courthouse. Felt like going back in time. The food was excellent...had the biscuits and gravy breakfast with sausage on top. Tons of seating, probably twenty-five tables inside and a couple outside. Hint of modernity with six large television displays. Great waitstaff. Thumbs up!

cafe on the square is always so yummy and comforting. the food is reasonably priced & the atmosphere is hard to beat.ashley is a wonderful server. she is very attentive to customers needs and can multitask very well. amazing customer service. we love cafe on the square :)
On the Square in San Marcos, great place for breakfast. Good service and good food.
We've had them a few times now and have yet to be disappointed by the food. Only gave 4 stars because when we ordered through the food delivery app they completely left out 1 meal. The salmon is delicious and the chicken fried steak is a favorite for us.
