I always overeat here, and for good reason. Everything from the salads to the open face sandwiches are great, and the patio in the back is a plant-lovers paradise.Lots of exciting mimosa flavors, but stick with the OG to avoid disappointment.
The service was great, our server was most amiable. I had the egg white frittata; exquisite! I'll need to try their latte on my next visit. The beautiful plants on their patio were a nice welcoming touch. Overall, good visit. I'll leave the 5th star, hopefully for my next visit and I'll have to check out their restroom... Clean restroom clean kitchen; it's one of my mottos. ?
We sat outside in the back patio. The white frittata was so good. Everything we ordered was good. Friendly service and clean.

I've been wanting to try this place for a while and glad I finally did!The food was great but is a bit pricey if you're on a budget.I met a friend for lunch there and liked that they served breakfast all day. We both ordered the veggie frittata and it did not disappoint! We both got a big slice, along with salad and buttered bread! I also had the blueberry blintzes, which I'd never had before. I expected crepe-like texture but they were much more dough-like.We enjoyed $2 mimosas, but mine was more champagne heavy than I like, so they made me a new one with more juice to balance it out.The atmosphere was, cozy. Social distancing was not a problem. They have outdoor seating but this day was much too cold for that.The only downside I could see was the parking. It is downtown, so if you cannot park infront, you may have to walk to it. Overall, it was a good experience.
Experience is always great but bring back the Eggs Benedict, it's the best thing on the menu by far.
Very happy this place came to San Marcos. I used to live in Austin and loved their original location. It is wonderful to see the beautiful old architecture of downtown San Marcos restored in good taste. The food is good although the menu is limited. Three stars because the last time I went with my son and his girlfriend we waited for a table out on the charming back patio. Although there were several vacant tables out back during our meal, and we asked several times about them, we were seated inside. IDK???
