We used to go to the Bandera location before it closed and never had a bad experience.This is the first time we ate in at this location and were very underwhelmed from the beginning. Staff ignored us and when they did finally greet us, they didn’t even look in our direction. Apparently they didn’t bother to secure the benches to anything because I accidentally pushed it while trying to get in and out of the seat. They had no clean silverware and brought us plastic that was so flimsy that the fork got all bent up from use.The food itself tasted fine BUT the carrots and potatoes were not fully cooked and as the pictures show, they were enormous. Carrots are at least safe to eat raw but potatoes are more likely to create digestive issues.I asked to speak to the manager and was told that they did not have one.
Yum Thai is exactly what I’m looking for- a best Asian Restaurant around my house. The staff- Yim is friendly and the food is delicious. This is my second time come back here, and can’t wait to write a review for them because of kindness and professional. I will come back more
Entering into Yum Thai we were met with a warm and earthly style seating area with very welcoming and friendly staff. We were told about the choices and possibilities. The Pad Thai and Drunken noodles were our choice and were just right.For drinks we ordered Boba Tea of course and it was definitely Yummy!We ordered the Veggie Rolls and Potstickers for the apps. They did not disappoint.COVID: The staff wear masks and clean the area very well.We will absolutely be back or most definitely order the food to go.Great job! @Yum Thai!!
Love love love this place. And it’s even better when you dine in! Food is always amazing I’ve yet to be disappointed after two years. The Tom KHA KAI soup made to order is phenomenal. The chicken pad Thai is my go to every time. The service was awesome our server Jess was super nice and attentive and funny! Great experience all around.
Best Thai in San Antonio! Been coming here since I was 17 and haven’t stopped! 7 years and going now I always recommend this spot to everyone visiting or looking for authentic Thai food. 100 out of 10 even if you’re taking it to go!
My wife and I sat down for dinner today and had Yim as our server and it was amazing! Yim was very attentive and helpful during our entire experience. We started off with thai tea & strawberry boba tea for beverages and they did not disappoint, both were very delicious. We also tried the veggie rolls with peanut sauce that was out of this world. For entrees we had the Thai fried rice and penang curry, which are our personal favorites. The seasoning and flavors for both were some of the best we have ever tasted. We both highly recommend this restaurant, and we will be visiting again!
My very first time having Thai food and this place is amazing! I’d heard of it from my neighbors and it did not disappoint. Yim was so nice and sweet. We are definitely coming again!

My husband ordered the Beef Pad Thai was just as good! We had no wait time as our food came out pretty quickly and it had a beautiful presentation.
My best friend and I love this place for all things Thai! We ordered chicken pad Thai, egg rolls, and the drunken noodles with chicken. All amazing! yin was our server and she was very attentive and fast. The food got to us within 10-15 minutes once we ordered! We love coming here and will continue doing so.
