Melanee was honestly the best waitress ever. She was super sweet and very professional. Everything we ate she recommend appetizers we had chicken nachos, definitely a must! hubby got a burger I got salmon, we also celebrated our anniversary and got treated the best cookie brownie combo ever! Definitely great service will 100% come back. Thank you Melanee for an awesome time, it’s so hard to get customer service now a days and you are top tier ! Thank you thank you !
Before 6:30pm there usually isn't a wait. This is your best bet for not waiting hours to be seated in La Cantera. The food and service are both excellent. There's plenty of diverse food options, including gluten free and vegan options. There are many beers on tap. There's booth, bar, and table seating. There's outdoor seating. This place has a cool vibe.
Perfect place to relax and have some drinks. Not one bad mixed drink here. Ordered the Korean beef tacos and they were beyond amazing. The Hawaiian mule is great as well. Staff is friendly and the food was fresh. Took about 20minutes to get our food.
Great place to eat. Has a wide selection of beers and everyone I ate with enjoyed their food. Burger was a good size (I was still a little hungry after, but I have a big appetite). Sweet potato fries were amazing. My spouse had the chicken bowl and while I thought it was small, it was filling for them.We all split a brookie and it was awesome. It did not last long at the table. I couldn't even take a picture. Service was great and friendly. Can't wait to come again.
Absolutely amazing service & food. Anthony is GREAT! Would totally recommend. Everything tasted homemade, fresh, & fast! Husband said almost the best burger he’s eaten, the tacos were great, chicken lettuce wrap was amazing, along with the super light amazing cake! 0 complaints with the food or drinks. And reasonably priced for it being fancy! Bathrooms could be more cleanly though.
Very happy with our visit here! The food was delicious, the service was quick and friendly & honest. Wasn’t too busy.. probably one of the best craft burgers I’ve had in San Antonio.
We really enjoyed our meal and drinks here. It wasn't crowded, the food was delicious, and they served some excellent local beers as well as unique imports. We were visiting from out of town, and this was a special stop with family. It was also very convenient during a shopping trip to this mall.
Overall an average experience. Wait staff missed orders and had to remake food. Salad was DRENCHED in balsamic dressing and chicken was burned halfway into eating it. A very “eh” experience
Loved my whole meal experience. The shrimp bowl was made as requested, the shrimp weren't over cooked, and overall the meal tasted delicious. The chocolate cake looked like it would be overly sweet but was not at all. Normally, I can only get a few bites before I'm in sweetness overload. However this cake was moist, had just the right amount of sweetness, and the icing was creamy and smooth with mild sweetness and mini chocolate chips in it. I ate it all! :)The waitress/server was like a ninja with the drink refills which was spectacular considering how packed the restaurant was. Someone at my table mentioned that with the tablets whether servers were really needed however our server's timing and food updates made our experience great. A tablet couldn't do that. Thanks!
Good food, decent drinks, attentive service and an overall great atmosphere. I really enjoyed the poke salad and the firecracker shrimp. The area tends to be very busy during the evening hours, so highly recommend making a reservation ahead of time.
