Most places that claim to be "authentic Chicago" just aren't, but what a great surprise to find Wrigleyville Grill just around the corner from our hotel on a trip to San Antonio. As a Chicago-area native & Cubs season ticket holder who visits Wrigley often, Wrigleyville Grill is authentic Chicago. Will definitely visit again anytime we're in San Antonio.
Definitely recommend Wrigleyville! We got the Italian beef and Maxwell street. Get your Italian beef dipped though, because it was one of the best sandwiches we have had. The gentleman who rang us up was super nice and funny. The food came out quick and steaming hot. We weren't staying too long im town so we only got to try the food once, but definitely will come back for more when we are back in TX. They have weekday specials too. Prices are reasonable for the portion sizes.
Great chili cheese dog. I had to eat 2. Hand cut fries were awesome dipped in cheese so they won't get soft. I also tried the Italian beef my wife was eating and also delicious. I will definitely be back. The prices were fair and the wait was short and worth it.

Family owned awesomeness! Everything I have eaten here is great. You can’t go wrong. I had the Greek salad with chicken. He makes his very own dressing. It is one of the best Greek salads in San Antonio. Did I mention they are Greek! My friend had a spicy gyro and she was finished before I was halfway done!
Delicious! I have been craving a Chicago dog and I finally decided to try this place out. The ladies are super sweet, the restaurant is nice and clean and just delicious
My sister and I went in today while visiting the San Antonio area. It was like a taste of home; there is n o t h i n g quite like an Italian Beef from Chicago... except now an Italian Beef from Wrigleyville Grill. Awesome people and great atmosphere. Will definitely make it my go to when in the San Antonio area!
