Tasty food for the price. Always cooked fast.cashier folks are generally nice.

New in town and have been to this location about 10 times over the last 3 months it’s my happy comfort food in San Antonio , from the taste of food to the warm welcoming environment. Definitely recommending it to everyone.

Wok Inn (on Grissom Road in San Antonio) has been our Favorite Chinese place since my husband & I got married in 1992. My husband has been coming to this Wok Inn since his High School years 1987 - 1990.The Owners are super sweet and to this day they still work in the kitchen. This WOK INN is the original before the franchises. We go to others but the original is still our favorite. The Staff is super Friendly and the Food & self serve Soup Bar is to die for.Our boys stick to Lemon Chicken, General Tso's Chicken & Orange Chicken. My husband, our daughter & I venture out to the entire menu. Spicy Mongolian Chicken (my personal favorite), Kung Pao & Moo Goo Gai Pan (my husband's favorites), Wild Mushroom Chicken ( my daughter's favorite) are among the few of their Amazing delights. Their Fried Rice has a smokey delicious taste. Their soup bar has three delicious soups to choose from (egg drop, hot & sour, and cream corn chowder) along with steamed rice. This WOK INN has Lunch & Dinner Specials at a super price and they include your drink & egg roll.If you are a Chinese Food fan this is an Amazing Restaurant to add to your weekly meal visits. We come twice a week and sometimes more if we are in the area.

Well.. I was honestly surprised by the quality of food. It is not your typical Chinese resteraunt that tastes the same as 90% of Chinese resteraunts. Plus all you can eat soup bar. Will Def be coming back.

AMAZING as always! This is the best Chinese food in the city and so far above the rest of the restaraunts in the chain that I will only patron this one!!!

I have eaten here multiple times. All the daily specials are great. Cannot beat the free soup which are at least 5 different types and sticky rice as well. The service there is awesome and the atmosphere is welcoming. Stop by and give them a try.

If you decide to buy from here and pay with card, make sure to check your transactions! My total was $20 and was charged $24 on my card. Its not alot, but if they rip off enough people it all adds up. Be careful!

This was one of my family's favorite restaurant over 20 years ago, and when my sister's and I visited it the food was still as amazing as ever! They have expanded to other locations, but the original Wok Inn is the best! We ordered the Mongolian beef, lemon chicken, orange chicken, chicken lo mein and pork friend rice. All of the entrees were flavorful and the portions were large. The soup bars hot and sour soup and egg drop soup are as good as the entrees. The staff were friendly and attentative. This restaurant continues to be the standard I hold other Chinese restaurants to... I highly recommend taking your family!

While I usually enjoy my visits here, but I have to give them 3 stars for false advertising tonight. Their current menu has entrees listed from $8.75 to $9.75. We ordered the sweet and sour chicken and the almond chicken, both for $8.75 each. When the girl rang up our order, it was about $2 more than expected. When I asked about it, she giggled and said, "oh, well all of our items are $9.50 now. I don't know why the owner won't update the menu." I do. Why change the menu when you can just charge more and see how many people aren't paying attention? Not a very honest business owner in my opinion, and I've got the pictures to prove it.

Gotten a little laxed with cooking... Half my lemon chicken was light pink - undercooked. WON'T be returning. Staff is so good too. It's a shame.
