I'm going to be kind and give it 2 stars. We've eaten at this location for over 10 years, and have gone from a couple times a month to a couple tries per year. The crowd I see says others are doing the same. Service is usually pretty good, but the food has gone from 4.5* to 1.5*. Great items are discontinued (berry salad, among others) and existing items are literally gutted. The chicken tenders are tiny. I'll post a pic. Less than one bite. We had two orders. Campechana used to keep us coming back because my wife loved it...tonight it's terribly watery and with a tiny, brown portion of avocado. Willie's is a shadow of it's former self. It's a bummer. We've ordered and eaten a ton of meals here (thousands of dollars).
We love coming to Willie's James is our go to guy! The best and super kind person we know. Unfortunately today when we came James wasn't working but Frank served us and he too was awesome, friendly, and a hard worker! Our food was delicious and we were very pleased with Frank. My family and I would definitely recommend Willie's for a friendly environment to have lunch or dinner!
What an amazing experience we had there this evening. We were celebrating my dad’s 81st birthday and this was my parents first time meeting their youngest Great Grandchild. Our server Nicole was phenomenal. Constantly checking in on us, making sure we got what we ordered. She & her manager even had the crew come sing happy birthday to my dad & my father-in-law (whose birthday was yesterday). Nicole got us plates and knife for the cheesecake we brought. It was a wonderful celebration. Never once did we feel rushed to finish and leave. Thank you to Nicole and the entire staff.
We have been coming to Willie’s - Leon Springs for over 7 years. We have seen many servers come and go, transfer, leave for school, start a family and we have kept in touch with many along the way. This evening we dined and we’re served by Ross. What a very polite young man that was extremely attentive and checked on us many times to be sure we had everything we needed. We are so happy that the servers on staff are so friendly and personable. It is truly what makes us come back over and over. As we were preparing to leave the manager, Sam stopped by and asked how everything was. We spoke with her for a bit and ensured she knew how happy we were with the amazing service Ross had given. Sam was also very sweet and was so happy for the feedback. We will Definitely be returning and sure hope to have Ross again as our server!
I gave Willie's Grill in Leon Springs 5 stars because they acted above and beyond what is expected in a customer's dining experience. I should have written this review sooner but I'd like to say Claire, who takes the orders took the time to not only recommend a dish for me but bring me the nutritional information for my gluten-free; soy-free; and dairy-free diet needs. She demonstrated a good attitude with a smile and helped me with my order numerous occasions.Also, I want to mention, when I asked for the Manager, Samantha was just as customer service conscious. Willie's Grill in Leon Springs is one of my favorite restaurants, so much so that my son treated me to my Mother's Day lunch at this location.I can highly recommend this restaurant for good food; good service; and a good relaxing meal.
We eat here at least once a week and sometimes more. Alec is a great waiter and very attentive. We have great service and food every time!
Ate at Willie’s today and the food and service was great. If you go, you need to ask to sit in Hadley’s section. She is very personable and knows the menu backward and forward. She actually made sure our order was correct. She was very attentive, always checking on us with a smile. Food was great. Definitely recommend the chicken fried chicken. But burgers are good too. Really can’t go wrong.
We stopped in for lunch and my partner and I split the crawfish platter. So freaking good! The portion size was plenty for us to share and the flavor was pretty typical but still very tasty. The real shining star was the brisket mac n cheese balls!! To die for, the brisket is tender and flavorful and the crispy coating is so wonderful. Highly highly recommend stopping in especially when the weather is nice so you can sit outside.
Went and ate at Willie’s for lunch and it was a great experience! Everyone was so nice and accommodating! Ty stopped by and chatted for a bit, made us feel right at home. Kayla was our server and she was a delight! We will for sure be coming back soon!
The food and service are consistently great. In a time when customer service has become a thing of the past, Willie’s in Leon Springs still values their patrons. Colin has been our server a number of times and he is fantastic. Keep it up
