Our go-to spot for decent sushi in San Antonio so far. My partner and I have tried a number of different sushi restaurants in the area, but none have compared to Wild Goji. Made an impromptu visit recently and was not disappointed.Upon entering there is a sign that states "please wait to be seated." There is usually no host at the entrance despite having a podium present. Still, we are seated quickly. From the entrance you can see the sushi bar towards the back. The left side has a full service bar. It is an open concept layout with ample seating. The wall towards the front has specials written on a blackboard. There is a wall with a wine rack built in, however, it looks more like an eyesore. When you sit down, there is a QR code on the table to access the menu. I am happy they have clear vegetarian options for the sushi rolls. I ordered the vegan roll and a sweet potato roll. The vegan roll consists of cucumber, avocado, oshinko, and asparagus. I had requested the sweet potato roll with cream cheese. The rolls were presented nicely and tasted delicious. To drink I usually order the Summer Dream Martini which is Malibu, peach Schnapp, simple syrup, pineapple juice, and strawberries. Each time it's always delicious and refreshing. My partner loved her order which was the hot house sake, Wild Goji Signature roll, and the Iku Iku roll.Overall I have a positive experience each time we visit and will likely return in the future.
It’s the little things that make a restaurant special to me. One is presentation. This place has it down. Right down to the banana leaf under the sushi roll. Plus the food was excellent. The won ton soup had huge dumplings and the sea weed cucumber salad rocked.
Nice cozy place for sushi and ramen. Crazy fast service, our food was out in less than 10 min after ordering. The sushi, fried rice, and wings were very good. I probably wouldn’t order ramen again but would def be back for sushi.
Great sushi and ramen bowls! Family loved it here! Awesome service and food was prepared in a timely fashion. We will be going back!
We have been trying many sushi restaurants around town and were very impressed with Wild Goji. They have very unique and delicious sushi rolls, and mixed cocktails. The service we received was great, they offer a happy hour menu and specials. We will absolutely be coming back for more.
Wild Goji Sushi Restaurant and Bar was a great place that I highly recommend going because they have so many options for food and drinks whether you want sushi or alcohol. The atmosphere was very welcoming like our server, very attentive and sweet. We had the edamame and tempura starter as the appetizers. Also three different signature rolls: Spider Roll, Iku Iku Roll, and the Rock n Roll. Lots of things yet to be tried but definitely will be back to find out!
Food was delicious and beautifully presented. But our food did not come out together; one dish got made after the rest of the table finished. (We were seated before the rush.) Second round of drinks did not come out together. One drink came out very late. And, to top it off, the restaurant added 18% gratuity. Let's do better, guys.
Service is great, presentation of food is awesome. We love their ramen, walnut shrimp, and sushi. Their fiji wasabi wontons are my favorite! I cannot say enough about how fabulous the food is.
Friendly staff and it has delicious food. I was regularly given tea refills which I appreciated. It made me feel valued and I would like to go back sometime. Thanks!
Restaurant was clean, waitress was friendly and service was quick. They had a selection of about 3 Noodle soups to choose from which was what I was craving. The soups were good, they had a rich flavor. The rice was my favorite. We were dissapointed with the dumplings, they were not hot and the flavor was just ok.They had fair prices.
