Sadly this was our first time eating from this restaurant after reading reviews decided to go we ordered our food to go. The food was tasteless, super expensive, meats were chunks of meat had no flavor, spring rolls were super hard and crunchy. Will not go back. First and will never return. Should have waited until Wednesday when our regular tasty place opened up again. I understand times are tough but when you pay 90.00 for to go out food you’d expect something delicious not tasteless.
The first and still the best Pho I've had after many years. Small, family-owned, and down-to-earth. Fast, polite service and impeccable food quality at a reasonable price.
Best Pho I have had in YEARS!! I love Pho but sometimes a restraint will use a ton of cinnamon and that's all I could taste. Not here! Perfect blend of all the best flavors! 10/10 will come again!!Edit: many of the poor reviews I've read seem to be centered around the fact that the two or three people running this place are doing their best with what they've got. Be patient and kind to them and they will treat you well and with respect. It is well worth the effort you give them.
June 1, 2022 we ordered crab claws... TINY, with a bad texture like they had been frozen and refrozen several times, even the marinade had soaked through the meat so it was brown. Waiter knew they were bad but pretended not to understand, and it was reported to manager at checkout but we were charged anyway. VERY DISAPPOINTING. 30 years ago I used to visit this restaurant every week for lunch and the crab claws were 3 times larger, fresh and amazing. My friend and I also ordered the crab asparagus soup which had the consistency of egg drop soup. The asparagus was mushy and while some crab was found it had divider in it. The soup was almost tasteless but for the telltale tingle of an overdose of MSG which caused my friend's heart to race. My other friend ordered Bung Xeo which arrived with an overcooked giant eggy crepe that was so lacking in flavor that no amount of fish sauce, soy, or hoisen or any sauce at the table could save. I WAS EMBARRASSED THAT I HAD TAKEN MY FRIENDS THERE.
They over charged me. The spring rolls said $7 on the menu, and they charged me $12. When I said something about it, the lady at register was very insistent and I didn't have the menu in front of me. The spring rolls were excellent and a large portion. But the rest of the food was mediocre and not worth the cost. Had gotten the chicken curry as well as the combination pho. The beef in the pho was dried out and not too flavorful. The curry was one deminsional. I wouldn't come back personally.
The seafood pho was really good, the spring rolls were amazing. The staff was super friendly and quick with food and service. The restrooms need some updating and repair but the food experience was the best.
The place looks super nice and cozy, smells like the usual place ------ rice and smg, ok service - waitress can't understand much English, well maintained place, good art, peaceful, communication is some what difficult, one waiter, one cashier- is a cooker too, food was cheep, I might be coming back to this nice looking place when the prices drops down and quality of food gets better.
Fantastic, authentic and cozy little restaurant... Friendly service and really flavorful pho broth! Also first time having stir fried vermicelli it was surprisingly good! A hole in the wall but exceed every expectation! If you're in the Strip area it's a must visit if you're into vietnamese cuisine or just need a pick me up after a night of hard drinking
This restaurant is under new owner however the information on the internet was not changed. The menu is not reflect the dishes under the new owner's prices. The seating was comfortable just difficult to get up and move about. There are very limited parking space in front of the restaurant. The foods were average, the prices a bit above the morn compare to similar restaurants.
Food was good service was very slow but not horrible considering how short handed they were the waiter tried.
