not your average taco's.... didn't expect to enjoy every flavor I tasted. and then, then there was the RED VELVET CAKE. #OMG the perfect balance between all flavors involved nowhere near overwhelming moist beyond reasonable terms. #ILLBEBACK
Just moved to SA and the staff and food here just know how to make you feel welcomed! I’ve been so impressed with the service and food every time I’ve been here! ❤️❤️❤️ 11/10 recommend.
Good tacos with different flavors. Came in late and got great service. Manager Sabrina was very helpful. Definitely come back again
This place was absolutely why we are called taco town!!!!! I got the brisket nachos , a spicy Tikka chicken , a kobe beef and a real Mexican coke. The dark chips have so much flavor the right amount of salt and everything assembled is a symphony of tasteful delight!!!! The people in this place hardworking and super nice and friendly, definitely has a good Texas hospitality to it. I one hundred and ten percent recommend!!!! I will be back to try the chicken and waffle and tots that I saw a customer being served with a fried egg and cheese......muh lawd!!!!!!!!!If you never have tried , do your self a favor and come experience!!!You guys rock don't change a thing!!!!!!P.s. When ordering , the smell of the kitchen in open view and everybody doing their thang smelled like quality heaven!!!!
The food was amazing and the atmosphere was chill. I had their curry queso and chicken and waffle taco. Both were delicious and so filling. We went expecting to be able to eat 2 or 3 tacos each, but they were so filling we were each full after 1. Definitely going back soon to try the other tacos. Highly recommend!
Velvet Taco is different than any other taco place they offer beef, chicken and pork choices...Velvet Taco is extremely good the portions are a good size and filling I recommend trying this restaurant if you want a new experience In flavors...
I really enjoy Velvet Taco. Now these are not legit and classic tacos, these are much like cool culinary sandwich ideas made into tacos. BUT that doesn’t disuade me. I love the flavors and the ingenuity! The place is designed with a punk like industrial look—which is a fun vibe. Definitely check this place out.
I love the vegetarian taco options here! There’s tofu, paneer, cauliflower and falafel options. The second time we ate here it was somehow even better than the first! The atmosphere is fun and the staff has always been friendly.
My girlfriend and I tried the Velvet Taco for the first time. We arrived around 6:00 p.m. during the week with no wait. The place was clean and the employees were friendly and quick to take our order. We ordered the Picnic Chicken (left), Rotisserie Chicken (middle), Green Chile Pork (right), and nachos. Each of the tacos were good. But the corn tortillas were thick and somewhat hard. However, this is an issue with a lot of taco places. A soft taco results in the taco falling apart. A tougher tortilla keeps all the food in but it also makes for a harder tortilla. The Picnic chicken had something really tough and crispy in it. We had to remove it from the taco. It was either the crispy chicken skin or honey-dijon potato salad. We also ordered the Red Velvet cake which was almost tasteless. The icing was good. Overall, we did like the tacos. But we do not think that they are worth $4.85 per taco. We would recommend trying the place out for sure as everyone has their own opinion.
Great food & awesome service! Great taco time experience
