I was very surprised at the quality of food here. It's getting harder to find "authentic" AND high quality Italian-American places. I put authentic in quotes as the only place you'll get authentic Italian food is in Italy. For Italian-American fare, Umberto's is pretty darn good.My wife made reservations days in advance for our large party and they accommodated us perfectly. They have two dining rooms, one for smaller groups and one for larger groups.Upon arriving at around 5pm, we were taken through the restaurant to the dining room for groups. The restaurant was full, always a good sign! The food was amazing. Everyone at our table got something different and the spread was beautiful. From pizza to pasta, seafood to veal, everything tasted delicious. The pizzas were gooey cheesy goodness and the pastas were seasoned perfectly with their respective sauces bursting with flavor. We got calamari and muscles for appetizers and those were gone in a flash. The house kindly provided an order of bruschetta for the table as well as tons of bread and butter, in addition to bowls on the table of freshly grated Parmesan cheese to be spoon-poured on everything we ate!My wife and I are planning on coming back here for a romantic dinner date. It's totally got the vibe for it and the quality of food will make the date. They also allow outside bottles of wine with a regular $25 corkage fee.

We tried Umberto's on a recommendation and it didn't disappoint. Be prepared to take some leftovers home. The serving portions are huge. The food was fantastic. The service was good...they were busy. Understandable. Over all I would definitely be back and would recommend it to anyone.

The food was absolutely amazing and the portion sizes were REALLY big! Calamari was hot and crispy, chicken lasagna was piping hot, salads were fresh and crisp and the chicken parmesan was HUGE! Food was truly amazing, sadly the service was very slow! Four to six minutes just to get drinks ordered and another five or so minutes to actually get the drinks. Outside of the poor service, it was a five star experience!!

In town for work and really wanted Italian. Best choice we could have made was taking a chance on Umberto's! Fantastic food, fantastic prices and fantastic service. Will definitely recommend...and we'll probably eat here a couple more times before we leave!

My family brought me here for my birthday, and so many ppl have recommended to try this restaurant, I'm so thankful I did. The food was amazing and for some ppl who review about the wait, it's worth the wait bc it's all freshly made it's NOT heated up fast food like olive garden this place is legitimately made. I ordered the Chicken Gorgonzola, it was mouth watering so creamy! The waitress did an outstanding job she had great customer service and she gave us a free complimentary appetizer Bruschetta; which was flavorful I would improve on the baguette little breads were too hard to enjoy. But other than that, their rolls are great needs alittle more flavor maybe some garlic. They also offered me a free dessert as well for my birthday, truly appreciated!! I got a strawberry cheesecake which was presented well and tasted great. All in all, I had a great experience and would definitely come back again. Thank you all for everything.

Pretty good food. Service is slow, but the young kids are definitely trying.I would absolutely give this place a try!

The Chicken Piccata is delicious!!! Great spot that serves up great food! An underrated but over performing eatery!

Food was good & flavorful , wine was generically labeled no names of wine brands obviously not a focus for them. I had to return my Malbec because it tasted funky, changed it for Cabernet, it was fine after the change. The biggest opportunity for improvement was the service, I believe it was our waiter. He took long for everything and I noticed other parties were being served quicker and ours was hard to find.I will return to give it another chance to validate if the waiter was the issue. We were a party of 3 so should have not been an issue to tend to us more quickly. Rating really is like a 3.85. Improvement in Service and Wine would make it a 5

Food had a nice flavor and the portion sizes were large. The rolls they served at the beginning weren’t the best. They were hard and very much flavorless. The service was mediocre but the servers were honest with their answers when asked about the food. Would I go back? Probably not

Best food ever! We are visiting from California! Everything was a 10+
