Saw this place on Texas Eats & had to come try it. The Churro Split was delicious! Ice cream was on point & the prices were great. Definitely worth the drive & we will be returning again!
"Aguas locas" item was falsely advertised. It looks NOTHING like the picture on the menu- not worth the $10.99 that we paid. When we asked why it didnt look that way sam just said the pictures have nothing to do with the items on the menu. The manager/cashier Sam smelled completely like Marijuana which was overpowering (which didnt matter much to us) but he kept getting confused on prices and items when we were asking for more information. Was our FIRST and LAST time there for sure.

This place has very interesting flavors I have never heard of or seen “Tequila and almond, aroz con leche, abuelita chocolate, tamarindo”. They also have all the perfect junk food you crave.

Chaos! I have been here once before hoping the experience was a one time ordeal. But just left this place and it was the exact same experience.. Staff will completely ignore and act as if you are not there. Waited in line both times where the sign tells you to start your order and people will just make their own line while staff will service them while completely ignoring you. Once I placed the order my (20 min later), paletas were completely freezer burned... same as the last time.
Loved our visit here! Everyone was so kind and welcoming and helpful! Everything was so delicious, fresh and unique! Not to mention the place is so clean and bright!

I’ve been wanting to come here for so long but haven’t had the time to. I wish I came a lot sooner they have everything you can think of. They make their chamoy covered candies in house and I am obsessed! It is very clean and kid friendly! The environment was very welcoming! Will be visiting again soon!
First time ever to Tropicana Ice cream on Marbach and my last time. My family went in about 20 minutes before closing time and I was amazed by the different options they have. I ordered a churro split and the menu has it priced for $6.99. My wife ordered a large hot cheeto corn cup and my son got a oreo ice cream bar. When it came time to pay, the churro split rang up to $8.49. I questioned the price due to it was my first time at this establishment. The cashier stated, the screen is wrong but it's $8.49 plus tax and it's been that way for a while. At this time, it was 5 minutes until closing time and I asked if they can honor the price on the menu because it's very misleading. The cashier declined so I decided not to pay for my order due to its the principle to honor prices that are on your menu for your customers to look at. Tropicana decided not discount the churro split $1.50 and lost the entire sale at closing time. The worker stated sarcastically for me to go back tomorrow and the menu screen will be all updated.
