Great food! I think is great place for a small group like family size.I had an Thai Ice Tea, it was really good, great balance of tea, milk and ice. ??I ordered Pad Wun Sen (Lunch Special). The food was delicious, everything was cooked to perfection. I added some hot chili ? to the food to make give it a balance spice.Perfect for lunch, family dinner or a date. They have a patio, great for a relax meal!

Tong's Thai is one of my favorite Thai restaurants in San Antonio. It's a cozy place near the Austin highway. Ample parking space and easy to locate, they offer outdoor and indoor seating. They only take reservations for a big group. We sat outdoors next to the fish pond, it was such a relaxing time watching the fishes and enjoying our dinner. The service is good and the servers are very helpful.Coming to the most important part - food. We had decided not to have regular curry and noodles and so we tried other items. The pan fried dumplings were good, we got the chicken and veggies. The Pad Se-Ew came with flat noodles eggs and the perfect Soy garlic sauce, we got it with chicken. It was delicious and worth trying. The portion size was large and can be shared between two.I tried the Khao Soy after a very long time, it comes with a curry made in coconut milk, noodles, lettuce, fried noodles, cilantro, onion and lemons. Its huge and heavy with we really enjoyed it. I wanted try their boba tea but we were FULL!Definitely recommend this place for an awesome Thai food treat.

We met up with friends to have dinner @tongsthai.We love the outdoor seating and today the fans and mists were keeping us cool! We had Blueberry Bubble Tea, Chang beer and Pink Lemonade. Appetizers like the spring roll both fried and fresh and pan fried dumplings were great to start off. We had the whole red snapper which was slightly overcooked, four aces soup (came spicy though we asked for no spicy), seafood fried rice, vegetable stir fry with chicken and the mango sticky rice. The best was the mango sticky rice. It's not part of the AAPI Heritage Month Passport but still worth a visit. The koi pond and the trickling water is very soothing.Pretty busy for a Monday night! Check it out!

The food was amazing! I got the white spring rolls as an appetizer but they were so big they could easily be a main. I also got the Thai grill combo. It was big enough for two (had to take some home). Emmanuel was my server. He was sweet and attentive. I would recommend this place!

Wow! The people were friendly, and there were several options for atmosphere. I sat outside by the koi pond. I ordered green papaya salad, HOT. The portion was generous, it was tasty, and nice and hot. I'll get Thai hot next time. The green curry was also amazing. I like a bit more rice typically, but how can you complain with a heart shape? Definitely one of the better Thai places I've been to.

I ordered drucken noodles - medium spice. I love spicy food but always go a level down with a new place. The noodles were so hot my tongue, lips nose and eyes were burning after one bite. I had to throw it out. This was a Door Dash order - when I called to complain - suggest an error in the kitchen they told me to bring it back and it would be remade. I wouldn't have ordered Door Dash if I had a car. Dont do it - not worth it!!

A little salty ? but service was good! Prices are a bit high probably won’t be coming back ! We tried the pad Thai it was a bit sour. The pad se-ew not my personal favorite and the cashew chicken! It was the best seasoned. We left everything on took the chicken to go

I thought it was pretty good! There’s so much to try on the menu, I don’t feel like I can fully review! Service was great and friendly. Quick. Portions are great and tasty.

Oh my absolutely delicious Tai food! We started off with cheese rolls (kinda like cheese puffs but these are eggroll shaped and we also ordered the fried tofu Yum! They were very crispy but not at all oily. My entrée was fabulous! The drunk noodles were perfectly spicy I loved them!!! Lady at table next to us thought they were too spicy & returned them but I love spicy so I was on cloud nine. Others at our table ordered Pad Thai dinner plate & the other plate, sorry I forgot but it was in a cute bowl lol the hit tea was served in a heavy metal ornate tea pot. The atmosphere was charming & the patio had a zen feeling to it. I can't wait to return here & try more items.

So many flavorful dishes. Lemongrass chicken and spring rolls r my fav. If you don't already know there's a certain way to enjoy your spring roll; you wrap lettuce n cilantro and or peppermint leaves with shredded carrots around a piece of spring roll and dip it into the fish sauce.yummy!Reasonable lunch specials. Enjoy their patio with the koi fish and Asian waterfall. I like that u can order a drink while waiting curbside. Great service n friendly staff. Wait at the Red door to be seated. Sanitizing is practiced. Handicap accessibility. Plenty of parking/ you can park at bun and barrel as well.
