Wow! Every single thing hit the spot! We started with the Schrooms. I love mushrooms so this was super yummy. The New York Strip was packing some heat. I love the spicy tough. The veggies were cooked to perfection...not too soft, not too crunchy! And everything was seasoned so well. And that Winchester Whiskey Cake....ooooweeee! I'll be back, so many other things that looked great on the menu that I want to try. Our server Josh was amazing as well!!
The mutton chops, chicken schnitzel, fish and chips and cottage pie were to die for! The owner nick is also the greatest host.
Service was a little slow.. despite it being pretty empty.HOWEVER; the food was soooo goodWe got a combined order of 3 different appetizers and 2 entrees and everything was incredible and well presented too! Very picture worthy food! And it was a nice chill atmosphere as well !
Great place and food was delicious! Beers and service was pretty awesome as well. Only issue was it's a bit pricey. Other than that I would definitely go back!
Awesome place, wish I'd found this place sooner. Food was great and service too match, the wife and I both had the meat and potatoes, new York strip with the garlic mashed potatoes. I truly enjoyed myself at this establishment, and recommend you drop by and give them a shot. Inside you'll find a pool table, dart machines and they even have karaoke. Full bar and several beers on tap.
We usually come for steak night, and it's always a great experience. I'm also a fan of the chorizo scotch eggs. I'd probably come in more if the drink specials were better communicated (maybe on the webpage).
Nice brittish neighborhood bar. Perfect to socialize music was not loud. Our food took an hour to come out so allowed plenty of time to gab with friends at a table. The wisky cake was warm & tasted like spice cake, perfect with tea. Go with patience to order food they are short staffed, the waitress said she was having to help the kitchen cook & apologized for our oder being messed up & kindly took the fries off our order. She had a kind attitude even though she was wearing many hats cook, waitress & greeter.
Great food and great service! The atmosphere here is a good place to wind down after a long day! They also help support the community for the San Antonio youth rugby team as well! If you have a craving for trying some English pub food this is the place to go!
Food was good, great atmosphere. The Carlsburg tap was a little skunky and for 8 dollars a beer, it should be top quality, other than that, a pretty cool place
First time at this establishment. Have read about it and seen it a few times on the way home. Glad we came in. Hidden treasure in my eyes. Staff is above and beyond! Food was great and bring that in a pickey eater, was not disappointed. Service is quick and on point. Atmosphere is relaxing and laid back. Looking at possibly coming back again tomorrow and many other times. Thank you!!!
