Great except for red head girl. Chris is great, beer is great, food is great, games are great. But red head girl was audibly MOANING and grunting the whole time near closing saying things like “so many tabs open” and “there’s no more time for gamesss!” While she was wiping things down. She was so dramatic is was halarious but certainly not good service. If I hadn’t already been here before and met Chris I probably wouldn’t come back because of her.
One of my favorite spots in town. If you haven’t dropped in to SA’s only self-serve, pour-by-the-ounce taphouse, you need to check it out. A great selection of continuously updated local brews are on tap, and the staff is always terrific. There are several recurring events (karaoke, trivia, etc.) and the vibe/atmosphere is spacious and clean. The patio seating is great too, especially when we want to bring our pup along. Highly recommended!
Awesome concept - brews by the ounce. What a great way to try out craft brews without having to buy a huge quantity. They have fair prices and a fantastic variety of brews. The staff is friendly and helpful in ideas of what to try. In addition they have a grill. Friend had a grilled Spam and pineapple, I had a Reuben, we were blown away by the taste. Next visit, it was a chance to try their freshly grilled cheeseburgers, again the chef nailed it. It has become difficult to find a superbly made burger nowadays, they got it right. Folks that go there also tend to be friendly, there is a mellow feel to the place, so you need to put it on your bucket list. Oh, and they did have beer in a bucket for sale as well.
This establishment was very clean and classy. Great drink selections. The owner is extremely polite and informative. They had a lot of fun games to play. Hospitality and product quality is 10/10. Great to spot to hang out at!
This is such a unique place that allows you to pour your own beer. Friends have told me that the place lacks a theme. Food is pretty good but I wish I could bring tacos in. Also the men’s bathroom is huge and needs a stall around the toilet.
Back again and can’t say enough about this place! Tonight is normally steak night but they had an option to do a burger. So we went for it and they did not disappoint! Burger was perfectly cooked and the bun veggies were super fresh. As usual the staff is awesome!
A self-serve tap house - not brewery - as they only select and serve others' brews.The tabletops are repurposed doors - hence the name. One gets a debit-like card and a glass, goes to the wall of taps, selects which of the 30 some beers to drink, and is charged by the ounce. Lots of local TX beer, and plenty from other states, like WI, CO, OR...
I love this place! Before finding this place I was not a beer drinker, but this place changed that! Get selection of beer and the staff is great! Very friendly, very helpful and they make everyone feel welcomed.

This place is great if you like serving yourself for $12 a pint of flavored beer. Some nice ones though!
