I went with a few of my friends after graduation practice at the Alamo dome. Staff were very pleasant and friendly. The environment is extremely cozy but fun as well. All of us enjoyed our meals and drinks. I would definitely go again!
Nice patio. Good drinks. Good service and excellent food
Great atmosphere! Food is amazing! Love the outdoors with music. Great for date nights.
Super delicious! and exceptional service by Gwen. So lucky it was happy hour. There is also a new beer in town -try Fiesta Viva ?
Overall, it was a great dining experience. the music/bands were awesome. I will definitely go back very soon.
The charred edamame is a must have and the ramen was really good. Very attentive and friendly staff provide great service. The charity aspect makes it even better.
Came for a Friday evening Happy Hour. The primary parking lot is the small gravel lot across Montana Street. It was a chilly evening, so opted to eat inside, but the patio area out back was nice and spacious. Was immediately greeted at the hostess stand as soon as you walk up. There's 2 separate interior dining areas and I was seated on the left side where there's several eating rooms and the bar. The interior was very unique as it still felt like an original house. There's nice artwork throughout the interior and there were games to play on bookshelves.Waitress immediately came over to explain the current menu, drinks, and the current month's charity. It's nice they choose a worthy charity to donate some of their proceeds monthly. For the food, there was a nice mix of traditional Japanese foods and some fusion Japanese food. The small plates were similar to an izakaya style ordering. It made it pleasurable to share and also an opportunity to try many different items. Ordered everything from the Belly Bao, Karaage, Tebasaki, Pork n Kimchi Dumplings, Katsu Sliders, and House Pickle Plate. Everything came out as they were made, similar to an Izakaya. Food was great and all were freshly made. The various cocktails were good and even better that the special cocktail resulted in $1 being donated to the selected charity.Nice casual restaurant serving traditional Japanese comfort foods and some fusion foods. Good food and service.
This place is the best! Staff absolutely wonderful and they really make you feel welcomed. ?? Even the owner came out to great us. Abbie was our server and she knew everything on the menu and had great recommendations. The food was sooooo good. Broth that was in Ramen.. incredible! ? Abbie also explained the charities they donate to and type of events that occur there. Not only are they customer oriented, they are also community focused. This place is located on the corner of Montana and Cherry St. in front of the Alamodome. Go try it!
This place was incredible!I love the setting, and the mission this place represents. It’s an amazing place to dine in and feel good about it!The ramen were delicious! It can easily accommodate for vegan eaters, but their regular ramens are incredible. The tonkatsu broth was delicious, and the meat was tender and great. But the highlight for me were the bao buns! It is hard to find closed in buns like these ones (most are open faced) and they were an absolute treat! I want to come back just got those!
