Wow wow wow! The food is spectacular. I've been there twice and everything is delicious. Best Pad Thai I've ever eaten. Service is very friendly - amazing. Shocked that it hasn't a least 4,8 stars. Sometimes you shouldn't trust the score of a Google review

No fuss place that has THE MOST authentic tasting Thai food I have had in a long time. I saw it across the street from my hotel and ate there for two meals. The Lao style papaya salad was a burst of flavor. The pad see ew had the charred wok taste that I can never replicate at home. The crispy eggrolls came with all the accoutrements that is essentially authentic. The red curry noodle dish was sooo good. I will definitely be back every time I’m in town.

Atmosphere is relaxing , food is great. The staff catered to our every request. Will definitely come back at our next visit

Horrendous service. Even worse food. The host had to ask the cook if i could use the restroom. And they said i had to buy more food since it was only a to go order. Then i get home and the food tasted like msg and rotten shrimp. Do. Kt eat here.
Small quaint restaurant in downtown San Antonio, First, if you are dining in, the place is incredibly noisy due to mechanical equipment. Not a pleasurable experience. The dishes my husband and I had were okay at best. Not very flavorful, and we are acquainted with this type of cuisine. Not to discourage, but not on my list to recommend,
The River Walk restaurants all had 2 hr waits. Not here! At Thai Lao Orchid, we were seated immediately and served promptly. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. Worked well for our gluten-free friends, too.
Lunch portions were the smallest I've ever seen for "large". I don't want to know what they consider a small. The food was tasty, but the ingredients and portions did not match the $$$. Service was nice
