The tacos are delicious. That goes without saying. What really makes this place stand out is the process one goes through, journeying from the entrance all the way to the exit of the restaurant.The process is impressive. On days when it is extremely packed, the wait is literally a fraction of the time you'd spend at a conventiona eat-in restaraunt. I literally timed myself at point of entry to sit down with food...3 minutes and 15 seconds. Again, from entry to sit down with warm food. Their lemonade is great by the way.The service is warm and welcoming. Amazing place with amazing food. This place is doing "it" right.
Tacos were excellent only problem was no menu staff was friendly and helpful.
Moved from LA, CA in 2019 to Austin area. Best tacos I have had since I been on this state. This spot is authentic and delicious! Definitely turned me into a fan on the first bite.
I think this is now my favorite place!!! I like that you have a few more choices quesadillas, tortas, omg and a panaderia next door??? The service was excellent for being a Saturday night ? also you can order more at your table so you don't have to wait in line as it gets busy bust totally worth it ?
Found this place while looking for some authentic street tacos. There's a few places on Nacogdoches, but this place caught my attention. Came on a Saturday evening, so it was pretty crowded and there was a line of about 15 people. However, line moves very quickly and tables are immediately cleaned as soon as the party leaves. It was a very efficient system. I was worried about not having a table when I placed my order, but there were a few open tables.As far as the food, they have a very simple menu focusing on their core ingredients. The choices are tacos, tortas, and quesadillas. Regardless of the style, the meat choices are bistek, tripas, cabeza, lengua, suadero, chorizo, and al pastor (Thursday - Sunday). You order at the counter and it's immediately made. All the ingredients are ready, so your order is ready within 30 seconds as they were very fast.I tried different combinations on different trips, but my favorite were the tacos since I could taste more of the meat. Of the meats, my favorites were the bistek, al pastor, and suadero. However, you can't go wrong with any combination. The meats were amazingly delicious and the tacos were served with onions, cilantro, cucumbers, radish, and limes. There's 3 different hot sauces on the table and they all had a nice kick, but wasn't overwhelming. Get ready to get a little messy and enjoy these tacos. Ordered a few empanadas to go at the register and they were good as well.
I stopped by at Taquitos & Panaderia West after a long day of walking around the swap meet, and ordered four taquitos and a water bottle, man that hit the hunger stop.

So good! Finding a place that can cook tripas without turning them completely dry is very difficult. These have the perfect texture and great flavor! Nice staff & clean facility. Can't say enough good things about this place ?
