We've been in San Antonio for 9 days now and have already eaten here twice it is so good. Honestly the best meal we've had this whole trip.
Rude employees. A hello, thank you, you’re welcome, and have a nice day go ALONG way.Food was decent, but service ties in with my whole experience.I drove about 20-25 mins downtown because i was in the mood for Tacos.I asked for two quesadillas and a order of charro beans i saw she rung me up for 1 quesadilla and 1 order of charro beans, i corrected her and said it was 2 and she said yes that’s what i have you down for, so i paid $5.xx.I thought it was just a mistake I’m not sure so get my food about 5-10 mins later, mind you I’m waiting in San Antonio’s 108 degree weather, i get to my car and it’s only 1 quesadilla. It’s fine i went back and ordered another waiting another 5 mins or so.Charro beans had more onions and cilantro than beans. Obviously this place is good after a night of bar hopping on the strip, but maybe that’s all it’s good for, who knows? The thing that stood out to me the most is the cashier asked if i wanted to leave a tip. After i was waiting 3-4 mins without a hello, after i had to verify it was 2 quesadillas not 1, and not even a ounce of sincere customer service. The green salsa is good though.Customer service goes along way especially right now with prices rising and everyone being cautious where they spend their money.
I am having withdraws not having these tacos , …. I’m very satisfied tonight. Love the feta cheese & fresh avocado on each of my tacos . Every time
I had the carne asada mini tacos with everything and added some green salsa, they were amazing and I was not drunk so my taste buds did not deceive me. I will definitely be back to try more items which I'm certain the rest of their menu items will also be great!I will update my review when I have tried more items. Caution to others, there is usually long lines on the weekends but worth the wait if you are in the area and want really good tacos!
Great tacos and a great selection of food on the menu! Delicious. I live 25 min away and it's always worth driving over there to get some Delicious mini tacos.
Solid tacos and the custom sauce packets are awesome haha ?
Overall positive experience when trying veggie tacos at this food truck for the first time this week. Situated in a busy area known as “The Strip” on N. St. Mary’s, I managed to catch this truck while there was no line. I ordered 3 veggie tacos, which included beans, cheese, tomato, cilantro, lettuce, avocado, and queso fresco. This includes a choice of red or green sauce. I requested red salsa without avocados on a corn tortilla. My tacos were provided to me on a plastic plate including sliced limes wrapped in foil inside a bag. The red salsa was provided in a plastic baggie, which was meant to be bitten off at the end to add into the tacos. They also had can sodas and Mexican sodas available along with other sides for sweet cravings such as peaches and cream and arroz con leche. My tacos were delicious, flavorful, filling, and fresh. I would definitely return again, especially since there are additional veggie options available such as tortas.
There’s no bad choice, you can get corn in a cup, a choice of sandwiches, a drink, and dessert for under $20. And everything taste’s great. One of my go to places as an overnight worker. Day walkers are missing out.
A long night of drinking can be made even better by a stop @ Tacos El Regio. When I was in college, my friends and I would make sure to stop by whenever we went out. But the great part about this place is the food is good even when you aren't under the influence. Line can get crazy long but it's totally worth it.
Used to be badass! I live around the block! I mean the food is still good especially if your drinking. Now they are slow AF.. like they don’t care about their service as much as they used to. No sense of urgency whatsoever. Straight up be ready to wait an hour for some tacos.
