Great place, food is authentic and fresh. Ambiance is relaxing and decor is definitely worth to see

Simple, but excellent food, prepared with attention to detail (lemony sumac on perfectly cooked basmati rice, tangy dressing on the salad, garlicky hummus, and deliciously-season kabobs). The house black tea is perfectly brewed and makes a great accompaniment to the meal. The crowd around Friday lunch seemed to be mostly regulars, speaking Arabic and sharing platters. Highly recommended!

Very delicious food. First time in a while that we empty all plates. Everything was good and great service. Very friendly

This place reminds me of my country and my mother's food.Food is pretty delicious and well cooked. The special flavor that you can taste in the food is indescribable. Extremely delicious. Also, restaurant owners are very kind and friendly. Many thanks for your great service.

First time we visited Syrian Kitchen, San Antonio on January 1, 2022, enjoyed food

A surprising gem! The food is phenomenal. I heard one time you can tell the quality of a middle eastern restaurant by its bread and let me tell you that needs to go out the window. The bread isn’t the best. But the food itself is nothing short of perfection and more than makes up for the bread situation… smaller restaurants don’t have the equipment necessary to be spitting out fresh bread so completely understandable. The food tho! ???The Moussaka plate (potato and eggplant) had to be my favorite. Each grill plate comes with perfectly cooked rice and a delicious middle eastern salad. The Kibbeh are flavorful, taste homemade, and have some delicious vinegar dressing drizzled on top.My very persnickety Lebanese friend who is always unimpressed with food really liked it, if that tells you anything. It’s a family restaurant. The service may be a bit slow especially due to staffing shortages but the food is nothing short of delicious… good things come to those with patience. I super recommend giving this place a go. Come hungry! Leave happy.

The food was really good. We had lamb and chicken kapsha, lentil soup and something with eggplant. Everything was good. The portion was more than enough for one person. I couldn’t finish my chicken kapsha though. I recommend going there.

Excellent Syrian food! Great service and lovely decor! Check out the seating options! Classical :)

This restaurant is a hidden gem! I selected it randomly when we were on a trip to San Antonio. We ordered Kibbeh (100% authentic), Grape leaves (Delicious), Fried tenders (I hate U.S. chicken in general, cannot judge it), and the main dish was a grilled fish (Best fish I ever have). The service was very good. The fish took good amount of waiting time, but it's reasonable time to get fine grilled fish.

The food was delicious. We tried several dishes like kapsa, shawarma and kabab plate and hummus.. The environment and the ambience was very relaxing and very clean place. The owner was very nice. We loved sitting on the takhat (traditional seating). Will definitely ce back once we come back to San Antonio.
