Easy front door pick up. Nice and comfortable interior. Friendly and accommodating employees. Generous portions (about 2 cup entree with 1.5 cups rice). Fish tikka masala had great flavor and plenty of fish. Paneer fried nicely in saag. Okra had good flavor, not just spice. Tasty pakora was still crunchy with to-go order. The vegetable samosa were large, completely filled, and delicately fried. And look at all the garlic in the garlic naan!

Visited the Alamo walking back to my Car smelled a Spice in the air . Looked up and viewed a small sign .Walked around building to fine entrance . I seated myself at bar ordered a eggplant curry vegetarian dish ? it was excellent. Watched food come out of kitchen all looked good .I met owner he told me they were just getting into swing after pandemic. Atmosphere needs a little help but who cares food was ?

Came to San Antonio for a conference and stopped by here. It was so good we came here twice during our short stay. The prices were reasonable and the service was great. We’ve tried the chicken tikka masala, butter chicken (pictured), and chicken korma (pictured). The garlic naan was delicious, too!

The staff is so lovely. They were so friendly, helpful, accommodating, and nice to my children. The food was fantastic! The tandoori chicken was seasoned so well. It was delicious. The curries were excellent! They offer 5 levels of spiciness, which is helpful, especially with children.I would highly recommend Spice Grill and Bar. I am very impressed with our family experience.

Delicious and lots of vegetarian options.

The staff was friendly and accommodating. The manager spent several minutes with us taking suggestions. The food was good and priced right.

This is maybe the only indian place in downtown (scope for more restaurants in the location). The food was kind of hit or miss:All the fried appetizers were good - Gobi manchurian, Chicken 65, Apollo fish, fried rice. However, the other dishes were meh. The biryani was over-masalafied (spiced) though the presentation looked good. Other dishes were ok.

Phenomenal! This is hands down one of my favorite places to go for delicious, fresh, amazing Indian food.I look forward to coming here every time, and am never disappointed. 20/10 would recommend

This is the only Indian restaurant that's close to downtown. The ordering experience was okay but the food wasn't up to what you usually get from Indian restaurants in general. The chicken biryani is pretty dry and their Apollo fish is just fried fish sauteed in hot sauce. Total lack of flavors and authenticity.

chicken curry was immaculate! i did get spice level 3, was on the spicier side. will get level 2 for next time, personal preference. (spice tolerance isn’t that high) my boyfriend got a spice level 4 & he loved the heat to it (his spice tolerance is pretty high) i do believe 4 was still pretty high for his tolerance too due to seeing him sweat lol he still finished his whole plate tho! the food was rich in flavor. 5 stars :)
