Great little neighborhood bar. We’re visiting from out of town, and found this gem in the neighborhood in which we’re staying.It’s bar food, so let’s get that straight. But it was good. Chicken strips were crispy and tender. Only problem was that the beading fell off the chicken too easily.Fried pickles were spicy and tasty. Egg rolls were super tasty. Grilled cheese was grilled cheese, but it was on thick bread and had a good choice of cheese.The staff was great. Attentive, but not overbearing. The waitress was also tending bar, so she was running a bit. But she handled things well; she was polite, pleasant, and brought us a pitcher of water when our glasses got low.The inside is a little dingy, like a good ole watering hole. We sat outside since it was a nice night and we’re still a bit cautious with COVID out there.So, if you’re looking for easy and affordable bar food in Southtown, this is the place.
Was Celebration of My 68th Birthday!! Had my 2yr old Granddaughter with me. Great Family Atmosphere, outdoor area and delicious food!! Definitely gong back!
Stopped in for Sunday Brunch. I had the steak and eggs. I enjoyed the food and would eat here again.
Visiting from Houston & on our 3rd night, we needed a chill place away from the Riverwalk…….Southtown 101 delivered BIGTIME….With Chaz at the bar & food from the back, all our needs were satisfied…if we lived here, this would definitely be our go to dive for much needed relaxation…..LOVED THIS PLACE
The peanut butter burger was actually pretty good! The jalapeno chorizo bomber was great too :)
Food was surprisingly good here. Bar was limited (liquor selection) but still okay. Music was good and we stayed drinking for a while after we ate. Had a great time.
Stopped for late night cocktail. Fun neighborhood bar. Great diverse mix of people!
What is a bar without a good draft temperature?... Each draft i tried the same day Were all hot. The room that these kegs are sitting in are not near 30 degrees or less... Nothing matters but the draft.... A good bar is good if it has ice cold beer not 50 degree beer. Check your temperature gauge.
It's a nice place if you come at the right time, which could be when it's packed or not packed. It all depends on your preference. Fair prices and good food. The burgers are awesome. Good beef hand pressed. Restroom graffiti reminds you that hoodlums patronize, as well. Overall, I think you'll approve.
Can someone please call me about a pending charge on my card. It has been almost 2 weeks since I visited. The pending charge has not been let go. The charge is also for an amount I did not spend.
