Stopped by for a quick dessert on a Friday night. There's about 5 tables inside, a small sitting area, and a small table outside. Most were just eating ice cream, so the tables were clearing out quickly. They have paninis and other small bites, but ordered the gelato. Ordered the small as the scoops are very large and you're able to pick two flavors with the small.Gelato was extremely fresh, creamy, and rich like a gelato is supposed to be. This was great as other places claim it's gelato, but is really just regular ice cream. Was a nice place to have a dessert while out in Southtown. Service was fast and tables cleared out faster than expected.
This place is a great little taste of Italy right here in San Antonio. Amazing Gelato made in house! The Paninis boast delicious flavors with ingredients shipped straight from Italy. Let your taste buds travel abroad without leaving the comfort of your own town.
Cute name, good location, but they are unfriendly compared to the real Italians who are generous and jovial. They make you feel rushed/unwelcome, especially by strictly enforcing a 2 samples only. When spending $7+ for each person in the group, I would like to get a glimpse of what I'm going to commit to. I get the high $7 ( inflation/location), but a tiny sample you have to make a fuss about?Unhelpful to answer questions about their flavors. This is the 2nd time I have been in the past 3 weeks, with each time an off feeling about the service. They do have a good blackberry ricotta but their amaretto and Mexican vanilla was off, at least recently.
Their products are so good! The raspberry sorbet, strawberry lavender, and goat cheese cashew and caramel flavors are all great choices. You can't have it just once.
My favorite gelato/ ice cream place in San Antonio. The vibe and atmosphere is nice and the flavors will have second guessing your choice because they are delightful to the tongue and soul.
Generous scoops of Gelato for reasonable prices. Seating indoor and out. The raspberry ricotta was light and sweet. The chocolate hazelnut was rich and decadent. You can never go wrong with gelato!
This place has the best Gelato I’ve had outside of Italy. The pistachio is a must try!
This is one of the best places for a hot sandwich, gelato, and specialized coffee. You gotta try it!
I am a huge gelato fan and this place definitely lived up to the hype. Staff was nice (they were dressed as Vikings for Halloween!) and helped me get out of my comfort zone with the goat cheese and cashew flavor. I don't mind goat cheese, but in gelato? The flavor was toned down more than I thought it would be and the cashew and caramel elevate it to a different level. Also chose Ricotta and Blackberry (subtle sweetness and smooth) and il goloso (Marscapone Gelato with chocolate, hazelnut, and caramel). Each tasted great, but feel that the next visit I should balance my three flavor combo by replacing one with a chocolate/sweeter flavor. Great place for finisher to the night and can't wait to bring my girls here
I am Italian American and visited my home country many times. The gelato here is as good as any I have had in Italy. Nowhere in the US have I tasted such quality.
