The staff at Smoky Mo's were so helpful!! I was ordering a large family pack for a birthday party and the lady who answered the phone answered all the questions I had and was so friendly. When I got there to pick up, the guy who gave us our order had great customer service and walked us through our whole order to assure us everything was in the box. We ended up adding a few pounds of chicken and they were so quick!! I will def be going back!!
Delicious food. Came out quickly and was hot. I loved everything except the Mac& cheese. The creamed corn was SO good.
Not even sure this type of BBQ is a thing. Though tender, not flavorful. Maybe that's why they send the pickles and onions. Balance? This is a place I'll not likely visit again. Would not recommend
The place has a strong tradition in Texas BBQ & they know their food well. The meat was done exceedingly well & the sides were good as well. There wasn't any problem in exchanging one of my initial selections for another with such a helpful staff. GREAT FOOD !
I First tried Smokey Mo's about a year and a half ago for my mother's Birthday and it was delicious & very affordable!! Everyone Asked me who is this BBQ From? When I Went To Order, The owner himself came out and let my nephew and I Taste The Different Sausages...I Went Back About 3 months ago and delicious but I ordered online today for my mother and I since we Did not BBQ becuaee it's hot hot hot outside and I am highly Disappointed..The quality of service and food has gone down but the price has shot up. I looked at the plate and barley had any sausage and TWO RIBS..I looked at my other plate and small pieces of chicken and two small ribs...I asked how much for one link and she said $9.00 and I Asked How Much For half a link she said $5.00 I said WOW!! I LOVE SMOKEY But Bill Millers is cheaper....when I got home, i tasted the Mac and cheese and highly disppointed! I understand everything Has Gone Up due to the pandemic but this is ridiculous!! It's time to BBQ our own from here on out instead of spending $40.00 on two plates!! Big Fan Now Disappointed...
Decided to give Smokey Mo's a try for dinner take out earlier this week (party of 4 adults). We ordered sliced brisket, turkey breast, slaw, potato salad, and green beans. Brisket was delicious as were the green beans, slaw and spud salad. The turkey breast which I'm looking to add to my fav list was not so hot. Too salty, dry and containing 3.5 slices and what appeared to be about ½lb of left over ends and pieces. We ended up polishing off the brisket though barely touching the turkey. Not cool. Might give it another try but I'll be passing on the turkey. Bill Miller's and Rudy's still rank my top list specially their 'sliced' turkey breast.
Good food alittle pricy but tasty and well cooked
I tried here after visiting Hays BBQ in San Marcos and I wanted to like it, but couldn’t. The two stars is for the employees who were great. Tried three meats and their BBQ is missing that authenticity and BBQ taste. The baked potato was also over cooked and hard to chew.
The wife and I ordered the 3 meat meal. I got Ribs, brisket and sausage ?. mac and cheese potatoes and butter. wife got exactly what I ordered. two drinks and a dessert. which came out to 70$. so yeah a little expensive, but we left with our tummies full and happy. I'm definitely going again
Friendly service, but buttered potatoes were not cooked. I told that to the cashier and she told me that they are aware of that.I asked them if they were aware if it why not fix it. She responded that it is the way the company does it and cook it. So I could throw them away.Not coming back.
