We had a wonderful evening at Silo. Service was good and the wine and meal were also excellent. Glad to have then back and operating top shelf.
5 star elegant dining experience. Lovely food and wine and our severs Michaela and Allison were fantastic
The food was outstanding. I took out three friends and the bill was about $100 per person. That including two bottles of wine and $60 tip. Our waiter seemed a little off. We were not sure if he was having a manic episode or was on some kind of stimulant. I do recommend Silo for a special night out. It was worth the money spent.
This had always been one of our favorite restaurants. (Prior to renovations) Our reservation was at 7:15 pm. At 9:15 we still did not have any food. We let the server know we would not wait any longer. We went downstairs to la fogata. We were then stopped by the manager that had brought are meals downstairs. The pork chop was raw. The scallops were raw. Salads did not have any dressing. Nothing was edible They comped our entire bill. Our server was inattentive. She took our order and then did not see her until we were walking out. The new menu has been dramatically changed and lacks the originality that Silos Austin Hwy always had before the renovation. This location has a lot of work to do to get back to where they were prior to renovation. We will not be back.
An enjoyable date night spot,. I had the crab cake my husband the filet. Both were delicious though my husbands filet was a bit over cooked. The service was was great.
Great atmosphere and delicious food! Service was a little slow but it may have been that they were understaffed, not sure. We were in good company so we didnât mind it much.
Had 2 servers, but had to ask for oranges etc for water, and neither ever asked us how we liked the food Crab cake was big but filled with âstuffing â, not nearly as delicious as pre- Covid recipe, accompanying rice with chorizo was not good Snapper was good, accompanying corn dish was excellent Tenderloin was good, slightly over cooked for medium rare but accompanying broccolini was so tough that it couldnât be cut with a knife No bread service like before And, it took a very long to time to pay
Food was excellent but our side dish of green Chile Mac and cheese arrived late. Really miss the basket of assorted breads that are no longer offered.
Food and dessert were excellent. Will return for dining.
Excellent service. Ali was always there with what we wanted before we had to ask. She was also very knowledgeable about the menu and answered all our questions. The meals were outstanding, as always. Weâll definitely be coming back.
