First time here and the server was great at helping us pick out our meal. We had the sichuan string beans and they were spicy and crisp. We had the crispy spicy savory calamari and it was perfectly cooked. Hot but delicious. We also had the Don pork belly. Really good. Had the remainder for breakfast the next day. Still was good.
Phenomenal food that'll take you out of your comfort zone! The green beans were definitely a MUST - I could've eaten the whole thing by myself honestly as a full meal it was so good. We also got the Twice As Nice (great safe option for pork belly lovers), the Mala Dry Pot (definitely very different, acquired taste but spicy and delicious), and the Crispy Pork & Shrimp Spring Rolls (these were incredible) and they were all SO GOOD. Can't wait to come back with friends!!
Went here for lunch with the family based on a recommendation. The food was simply outstanding! Cannot recommend Sichuan House highly enough. Definitely make a reservation! We'll definitely be back
Sichuan House has been a longtime favorite "go to" place among my family and friends, though it had been quite a while since our last in house visit. Service was prompt and attentive, even with a large group of ten. The food was as excellent as we remember; there was something for everyone on the trimmed but still more than adequate menu.. I was very pleased with my salt and pepper shrimp and the tangy fish soup I ordered off the menu. The others were quite satisfied with their dishes as well.Good food, good service, and good company made an excellent night of bonding among friends.
One of my favorite places to eat Chinese food. It’s your little hole in the wall. They offer dine in or delivery. My favorite orders:the Garlic noodles, crispy green beans and the twice cooked pork. Delicious food all the time!
I was yearning some authentic Sichuan food and after researching social media, I came here for dinner on a weeknight. Arriving about an hour before they close, they were packed on a Monday night, but since I was a party of one, they were able to squeeze me in immediately. Ordering tea as and their hand-wrapped wontons in spicy broth for a starter, I was anxious to try the food here! The tea was Jasmine and it was great. The soup was outstanding! The broth had a spicy chili oil added, which offered a nice zing, but wasn’t over-done with heat. I then moved on to ordering their chili green beans and for dinner, I opted for cumin beef. The green beans were great! I could take the flame kissed flavor that was applied during the woking of the beans and the heat and garlic was present, but again, it wasn’t over done. Definitely some of the best tasting Sichuan green beans I’ve ever had! The cumin beef was OUTSTANDING!! It was very tender and loaded with fresh, very tasty spices and packed with tons of flavor! This dish offered the greatest amount of heat, but again, it wasn’t too much that it was offensive, it was just right! In the past, when I’ve had authentic dry spiced style Sichuan (Szechuan) food, it’s usually got a fair amount of oil... not here, this didn’t have a lot of oil at all and, obviously, there’s no sauce. It was just right! There were many onions, so I had some onion with every piece of beef and the combo was great. Overall, I really enjoyed this visit; in fact, it was probably the best Chinese food I’ve ever had, but they do have a very limited menu. I would not only highly recommend this place, but I’ll come back next time I’m in town!
Wow! Amazing. I tried spicy savory tripas which is authentic. And we ordered Mongolia lamb, even the order was mixed for Spicy Savory Lamb, the store still gave us a plate of Mongolia Lamb for free. But Mongolia lamb is more American. Authentic flavor and excellent service!!
I don’t remember what we ordered but WOW it was amazing. lol. the servers were beyond nice and the gm was quite a jokester. It was my first time dining here but I most definitely WILL be back.
Glad to have found this joint on Elder eats. We were lucky to have come on a slower evening, as this place is said to be pretty crowded on a regular basis. The cold garlic noodles are a must try, flavors were great. We also had to try the green beans as they are praised alot here. Personally, not worth the hype in my opinion but they were definitely well seasoned and had great texture. But for 12$, I'll pass next time. Service is great and the food came out super fast! Not just fast, but fresh as well. We will be back sooner than later ready for more. Very impressed.5/5!
SIMPLY AMAZING ?The place looks unassuming but the food will BLOW your mind ?.The restaurant is tucked in a small strip center that you drive past everyday and pay no attention, after you eat here and you will, you will kick yourself all the way home mumbling to yourself why…why have I never eaten here before.Highly recommend the Mala Dry Pot and the Tea-Smoked Duck. The Dry Pot has a different kind of heat, it’s spicy but also has a numbing effect that will delight your mouth. The place is on the small side, the staff is very friendly and accommodating and the prices are good (actually lower than you would expect for quality that you get).Food – 5/5Price – 5/5Service – 5/5Ambiance – 4/5
