Went to the Shirley's on Austin Hwy this morning and ordered a dozen donuts theough the drive thru. The young lady at the window was very nice and friendly. While i was in the drive theu I was watching the older Hispanic male who was cooking the donuts when he transferred from the fryer to the glazing area he dropped some on the floor when he thought i wasnt looking he picked them up from the floor and put them in the glaze machine. Before i knew this was happening this was the location i always came to but i think i will be going to a different location from now on!!! People like this shouldnt have a job working around food. They should have been thrown in the trash.. I gave you a 3 because the girl in the window was very nice. Other than that you should have gotten 1 star...

The best as usual..... options where a little limited... but what do you expect folks know a good donut when they see one well worth the wait.... expect a line at the drive through.
If you grew up in the 80's you may remember your mom carrying around a big book full of coupons. The entertainment book...anyway that thing is still around and I bought one. I love Shipley's and this is my location. The store appears clean always, and location has a drive-thru. And of course the donuts are good. But I just can't get over the fact that they refused to accept a Shipley's Donuts coupon. As a matter of fact the employees are told not to accept any coupons. Too bad they feel that way. What was funny though the employee asked me if she could keep my coupon since it couldn't be used. LoL lol lol yeah right!!! I don't think so I bought that entertainment coupon book just for the Shipley's coupons ???
If I could give this place a negative I would. The guy who took our order was so rude. We asked for a dozen donuts told him what we wanted. My husband said sir I think that’s a dozen and his reply was I really don’t care! When we got the donuts the order wasn’t even right. We’ve been to a lot of shipleys we won’t be coming back to this one. Ridiculous how unprofessional he was.
I saw ( ) Kaloche Coffee on (wall). Die-cuts used promote items. I looked at the trays and the plain sugar items look good. I was wanting to try many of the items that at a glance don't seem too sellers. Additionally, this location doesn't have Shipley's pictures on the wall (framed) showing history of the shop. I noticed a missing persons jar on the counter top. The Verizon lady says the lady at Shipley's is nice but didn't offer me to try or sample. I told her I would be back, I had no money, and asked her for a bandaid and a$1.07. She couldn't help me. The strawberry ? filled looks good. The three kids and ? (baby) sitter so grown up and attractive. Talking about what is chicken from Whataburger. No nuts though.
First time customer and will probably come back. We tried the original & blueberry cake donuts and the turnover. All of it was pretty good even after some got left on the counter overnight. I was surprised at how light they were. The turnover was not what I was expecting, it wasn't a puff pastry. But nonetheless it was pretty tasty.

Doughnuts were so soft and good, kolaches were soft but the ham was just cheap lunch meat and the sausage one tasted like a wennie, I expected a breakfast sausage. Coffee was good but I asked for a lot of sugar since I ordered 2 and I was given a lot of creamer and a few sugars.
