We've been to this location quite a few times.Quality is inconsistent. Prices have gone up to $1.30/doughnut! These doughnuts are not worth that much. Sloppily put together with the frosting and sprinkles. I'm glad they did finally get new boxes for a 1/2 dozen. In the past, they were squished in a tiny sleeve box and destroyed by doing so. They now have flat boxes.Bought doughnuts yesterday for my daughter's birthday. They were dry and lacking in the frosting/doughnut ratio.For the price, I will drive inside the loop to our favorite place. Might return if in a pinch and need something quick in the future.
Stay away from this place!!! My family and I went to buy donuts this morning and I was DISGUSTED at what I saw. The place was busy. Line of cars at the drive thru and a line inside. First of all, no one was wearing hair nets and the girls behind the counter looked hangover, tired or just plain unhappy to be there. The girl working the window asked 2 girls behind the scenes to help with the line of inside customers. One girl, as she was walking up to the counter, scratched the back of her head and then wiped her nose with her hand. She then proceeded to help a customer and handle money, then went back to work on the donuts, which all looked gross and messy. I noticed she was grabbing all the donuts WITHOUT GLOVES and spreading icing on then WITH HER FINGERS!!! I WANTED TO VOMIT!!!! I told the girl working the window what I saw and how disgusting and unsanitary that is and then we walked out!! We went down the road to Delightful Donuts and had a much more pleasant experience. I've always loved Shipley Donuts but this is absolutely unacceptable. If I could give this ZERO STARS, I WOULD!!
Being the donut connoisseur that I am I say, pretty good donuts. On a 1-10 I give it a 6.The first bite into the glaze was "Wow, that's fluffy. Is this thing even cooked?" The glaze itself was rather dissapointing texture wise (super wet?) but the flavor was great.The apples fritters and specialty donuts were $2.45... and based off of the glaze its pretty unlikely I'd ever buy one of their donuts for that price. The normal donuts are $1.25, which is cheaper than Duck Donuts but these ones aren't fresh like Duck Donuts.I say go to La Popular or Cabellos or basically any other high rated Donut Shop over this place.However, I'll probably be back to try the Boston Creme and other donuts. ?
This monday morning, I waited in the parking lot at 4:50 am for them to open at 5. I gave them a few mins to get situated and went to the window at 5:03. The two ladies working just stared at me and never came to the window. I waited 10 more mins and still nothing! Worst customer service. Couldnt even come tell me they weren't ready to serve people yet. Wonder if the owner knows this is happening.
The service was good and they had donuts of all kinds and flavors in the case when we arrived.
Went around 11am on a Saturday. Was not very busy. Ordered two dozen mixed and half dozen sausage egg and cheese kolaches. I got home and they had given me sausage and cheese kolaches…so make sure you check your stuff. They were also not that great. Ill stick to the frozen HEB kolaches. The donuts were average. Nothing special. Krispy kreme still reigns.
Delicious glazed doughnuts! Super soft and fresh everytime I stop by. After coming here I can't go back to Krispy Cream. Especially since the customers service here is light-years better. So if you are in need a some soft tasty doughnuts, stop here first!

This place has the worse service. Waited in the drive threw for 10mins so I decided to come inside to get my donuts. When I was inside there was 1 person a head of me. While waiting in line to get my donuts a car drove up to the drive threw. After the guy at the counter served the customer a head of me. The cashier guy with the pony tail went to take a order from the drive threw leaving me standing there when I was waiting in line already. This place has the worse customer service ever. I just left without getting any donuts after spending 20 mins here. If I can give the worker ZERO stars I would.
We loved the donuts, very tasty!! We just thought the service was a bit slow. The huge box is like a pizza box. Wish they'd go back to a small standup in rows box. Much easier to carry.
