We went for the first time for our anniversary. After we got seated, the hostess asked for our drink order and then brought it. We then waited 30+ min and we still didn't have bread, nor a waiter to come take our order. I finally had to get up and find a waiter and ask them to come take our order. At that point we just skipped the appetizer and went straight for our meals. Once our order was placed then we got our bread and we had another waiter come to us and apologize that he was not told that we were his table. We said it was fine, I ordered a bottle of wine at this point, and our food came quickly. After the first bite, my husband and I thought it was well worth the wait. It was amazing! We were well compensated for the long wait and we will definitely be going back.

Stopped by for lunch. Food was delicious portions are large, I had to take half with me. I had the chicken Napolitano. Bread was so fresh, it was perfect. Ambiance is nice and quiet, a bit dark, I wouldn't mind if they had better/more lighting...I like to be able to see my food.

Never being here before yet A long time waiting to try this place we had high hopes. The food was absolutely amazing. From the smoked chicken lasagna, to the grilled chicken with lemon butter sauce. Now the service was the reason for the one less star and to be honest I was contemplating on even 3 stars. First, after being seated we waited for a server who until the end never knew his name til we saw it on the check. we waited for Jorge so long to show that we had our entire order including drinks, appetizers, and entrees ready before we were even greeted. Again never being here before. I really want to come back the food is really worth it. We shall see.

We had not been to Scuzzi's in a while due to the pandemic and other reasons. It is also not very close to our house. A few years ago, they had remodeled the bar. I never liked this newer version as it now appears crowded and it is hard to navigate around the tables to get to the bar itself. The wine list was never very impressive but I usually found a red wine to order and the appetizers were pretty good. I liked the shrimp and the mussels were good. Occasionally, I would order the caprese salad. But the tomatoes really need to be in season. They were in the process of adding an outdoor patio, which is now complete. My sister and I decided to go for their Happy Hour. They have an updated HH drink and food menu. Every drink and menu item that we ordered we could not finish and was horrible! The first waiter/bartender told us that the younger bartender would help us and that he (the younger man) had actually taught him how to make drinks. If that was the case, I suggest he learn from someone else! The younger man had only been there a short time and could not answer basic questions regarding how items on the food menu were prepared. I ordered their Mexican Martini. I asked what made this a Mexican Martini and the bartender said, "olive juice." I was not impressed but it was drinkable and had a chile/salt rim. He also brought over two olives, which he said that he had forgotten. My sister ordered the cucumber martini. It was super sweet and had a very over-the-top cucumber flavor. It tasted like a cucumber syrup and cloyingly sweet. She asked for a glass of ice and poured the drink over that to dilute the taste. When I saw the tuna appetizer, I was very excited. I love seared ahi tuna! What a mess!!! The "sauce" was a super sweet gloppy glue with mango pieces. Someone had added enough red pepper flakes to choke on. I asked for soy sauce, which they did not have. I moved the tuna slices to a smaller plate and tried to scrape off the red pepper flakes from the top of the tuna slices. The tuna, although cooked well, had no taste whatsoever, except for the harsh taste of the red pepper flakes. When I tried to cut one of the slices, there was so much gristle, that I had to shred the slice of tuna to find edible bites. A soy vinaigrette with a slight Asian flair and minimal red pepper flakes would be a good sauce for the tuna. My sister ordered the caprese salad. Another miss! The tomatoes were so under ripe that they appeared almost white. I get better tomatoes at the Farmer's Market on Evers Road on Wednesday mornings. The slices of mozzarella were thin and rubbery. The balsamic reduction was not all that flavorful. I decided to order a Cosmopolitan, another selection from their martini menu. It looked and tasted like a watered down cough syrup. We were going to order wine but gave up after the drink and food disasters. We left the food and drinks, paid and left the bar. Recommendation: SA has many other HHs with much better drink and food offerings!

Was not disappointed! We had an amazing dinner. The scallops were very large and cooked to perfection! My husband and I usually constantly need our glasses refilled but our waitress Jewls never let our glasses empty. Shout-out to Danny for being a great manager as well with good dinner recommendations and keeping an excellent staff who always seemed to help everyone out.We will for sure be coming back!

The service from the moment we called to the moment we walked out was exceptional. The hostess (Deviny) was so helpful, to our server (Dan) who was very attentive, to all the other staff who helped us. We celebrated my nieces birthday and made it special for us. Food and drinks were great too, but it was the exceptional service that warrants the kudos.

Where do I even start? I was part of a group event hosted at this venue and the service was god awful. My food was burnt, we were left out on the cold patio where they only turned on one of the 5 patio heaters available. Employees never so much as refilled our water glasses, and I had to ask for a clean set of silverware multiple times before they decided to give a damn. Some guy claiming to be the owner was so rude and confrontational, I felt physically uncomfortable just being near that place. Never again will I return to this god awful place.

This was my first time at Scuzzi’s Italian restaurant. I give this a five star dining experience. From the time that our group of nine arrived we were welcomed, seated and served. The wait staff was impeccable from putting the napkins on to our laps to constantly having our glasses filled with sparkling water wine and champagne. We were there to celebrate three birthdays. The food was absolutely divine. I ordered the sautéed scallops with that delicious creamy buttered spaghetti. I had bruschetta as an appetizer with sweet tomatoes. Everything was seasoned to perfection. Everything that everyone ordered was absolutely delicious. I had to bring dinner home purposely so I could eat it the next day. After dinner some had this sparkling coffee that they lit on fire I don’t know what it’s called I had a cup of coffee and cake. We were there until 11 PM they had to absolutely clean around us and politely usher us out it was a fabulous experience. The music added to the atmosphere and we sang some of the old standards Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, what a night.

Had a large party out last night and the service was amazing! Mavi was a very generous host, our wait staff was on point the whole time, the bar was quick to get the drinks, Dakota who was helping our table was very attentive and fun throughout our visit. We ordered food and drinks both were delicious. This is a place I highly recommend.

We went for restaurant week, and as always the food was fabulous. The meatball soup is so delicately balanced with flavor, and the scallops were so good with that delicious butter sauce. The only reason we gave it 3 stars is our server was just cranky, it was not pleasant. He acted like he didn't want to be there and that's never a good atmosphere.
